Suggestion for practicing on swatches. Hold them IN your dominant hand in the direction your nails are or even ‘on top of your nails.

I've been waiting on this video! You answered the questions I had about the shape of your nails. When trting to do this shape, I always file off the tips of my natural nails. I think I will add tips, shape and dip them and hopefully within a month or so, my nails should be grown out! I like the way you store everything. Thanks for sharing.

Great space. I love seeing other peoples set up and storage. The prep filing is awesome. I love cuticle bits. They are so satisfying. The filing after the dip is genius. I am a scary cat. I use peel-off base coats coz I am scared of stuff really sticking to my nails and I love to pop the whole peel of dip off. Great video

Stupid question because I have heard you mention it before, but I’m gonna ask anyway.. you don’t buff your nails after e filing except the underneath bc of the gel polish? Are all gel polishes that way? Do you prefer your nat plus or melody Susie more? And lastly if my drill natplus keeps stopping while filing (if I apply any pressure at all) is that normal?

If you have an e-file, you don't have to soak off do you? Can't you just use the file to take it all off? Seems not do drying.

so when using an efile and its in forward for example.. I should file the opposite way of the way that the nail file is moving and same for reverse? I've been using my nail file which I just bought and I was wondering why I couldn't get the bulkiness down after dipping my nails. Is going the opposite way the right way or is that just for removal?

Dahab Biz I use this methodology for any efiling I do. Always in the opp direction from the direction I’m moving the bit!

I try to use my efile, but fir some reason it always feels hot or burning on the nail, even when I change the bit & the speed, I never hold the efile in one place for too long either but it hurts lol

Danielle MacDuff yep - friction burn. The key is to not let the bit sit in the same place for too long. Keep it moving and you’ll be fine. Also - ceramic bits don’t heat up like diamond or even sanding bands, so maybe give those a try!
