As nice as these planes are, it always blows my mind of how good a quad pilot Alex is with such magical aerial shots he gets. It really makes a difference to have such nice steady shot of all the planes in action thanks to Alex. Cheers.

I think I'd cry if I lost my Cessna. I absolutely love mine. It is my favorite touch and go plane. It looks so real in the air, especially when coming in for a landing. Do yourself a favor and completely disassemble the nose gear and Loctite all the screws. A shim on the shaft between the control horn and the nose gear housing will help tighten it up too.

Beautiful vid brothers! This looks like a step way up from the Apprentice S 15 E with S.A.F.E.! Looks like E-Flite listened and made a plane capable of bigger batteries and even more cells plus flaps, wow! I fly my Apprentices with a 5,000 mAh battery already but a 7,000 won't fit in the battery bay. The quad flying and getting most of the vid was AMAZING! Great work!

AWESOME VIDEO GUYS! .. The one thing I'll mention is that on a grass field I've now had two nose gear fatalities, not of my fault mind you, but that the tiny metal rod inside the top of the gear is too soft of a metal, so if there are grass clumps in the field (most fields have them, crabgrass etc.,), the gear will bend backwards against the shroud, paved is best way to go! Otherwise, I really do enjoy this plane, everything and more than what I was expecting for my first large scale! Thanks Again F.T.!

With crashes like this I honestly think balsa repair is easier than semi costly complete foam replacements. That's a $15 balsa and covering crash assuming the firewall is ok. Landing gear should be designed to break away cleanly, not rip a large chunk out of the fuselage.

What a beautiful aircraft! The photography is incredible! Such a bummer they collided and couldn't recover. Wonder if the AS3X on the top plane actually caused the top plane to stay tangled as AS3X was trying to level the aircraft that had its nose on the bottom aircraft - possibly causing top plane to push into bottom plane trying to level aircraft vs just floating apart. You guys are great sports to take the loss of two such beautiful birds so lightly. (I probably would have cried if they were my planes LOL)

That is a Mississippi Kite! They are a specialist falcon in multiple element air combat maneuvering. They fly from South America in mating pairs to nest in the south and midwest US States. They can kill and eat continuously on the wing as a team for 10,000+ miles! They are aerial masters of maneuvering, timing and tactics. Kites will tolerate some species of birds, but anything else (model airplanes included) near their summer breeding nest. I can tell you one will dive and attack while the other one is climbing to do the same. They will grab the nose of your plane with talons and fold their wings and ride you straight into the dirt.

At the field to set up, the CZ Cub has 6 more cottar pins and 2 more screws (4 driver screws vs 2 thumbscrews). I can set up the CZ Cub in 10-15 min, and so I surmise the CZ Cessna saves about 5 - 8 min. Doesn't sound like a big difference but I HATE setup time at the field (and I HATE lining up those cottar pins), and for this reason alone would consider this C150. I would love to hear more comparisons. The reports are that Cub is better at 3D (which I don't do), and with 6" wheels (I have the DuBros) and broader landing wheel triangle would have to have an easier time in thicker grass, vs C150, which would have to be more prone to nose over at some grass length. Any comments on my comments appreciated.

It's crazy how often midair crashes happen. The chances of it happening is still very slim even being in the same airspace. Im referring to when not flying in formation. Flying in formation obviously has a greater chance of making contact than 2 random planes not in formation. Ive seen one first hand but it still blows my mind that it happens. Both of those planes look fine. The ESC on the one will be the biggest repair, but the other might have had a chance of landing if a little higher. Although i think the airleron on that one was the one that was pulled away from the wing making it very difficult.
