Great Maiden. Your landings will be much smoother and controlled when you're landing on a flat surface. Landing on an Up hill surface is always more difficult. You did great.

I remember my first flight on my flight extra the Elronds was so sensitive I almost wrecked it 2 feet off the ground on the maiden flight😂. After landing it I realize that I wanted That thrill on every flight. So it’s still sensitive to this day & I love it

Great Maiden! Good flying. I got mine ready they day it came. (a few days ago) Won't be able to fly for a few more days. I won't be flying mine from the street though! Nice landings. All of them really. But man the landing gear makes quite a racket.

@@MasterBlud umm, depends. Since it’s super sensitive and has an insane amount of control throw, which you could tune down a little bit, I would still go with something else. E Flite Timber X before you get this. But the decision is up to you. If you can easily control your airplanes and fly without any issues, then go for it.

Use a 14x5 wood propeller & itll slow down great, have awesome hover ability and superior hover pull out! 👍

@@NICHOLASRGLORIOSO LOL yep that’s right!!! I HAVE to tune down the throws. I put the servo arms in the OUTER holes when the factory ones are set like the 3rd one from the outside. Thought it wouldn’t be enough but it was TOO much. Lol.

Looked good, I had the parkzone version of this it ripped. Now I have the ultimate 3d( best biplane ive owned and ive had a ton of em) I passed on this extra 300 because the ultimate had reverse. You really are a great pilot! I am just now getting good at hovering. It seemed so hard until I could do it now it seems easy! My 3d skills pale in comparison with yours! Impressive with that timber x seems you took it easy on this 300's flight

@@KB_RC ya I can tell its fast just from videos. Some day I may step into one. It is kinda big and I wory it wont fit in my car. The elevator throw alone is intimidating! Cant wait to see what you think of the ultimate 3d. I will say its built very well, very strong rigid wings and beefy hardware. Also for a 950mm wing its a big plane, not sure you have been around one but it has presence!

@@mongoose4117 yeah it’s fast ! Ahhh Phhht you’d be fine I’m sure with it!!!! Yeah I put the throws on the far outer holes and may change that… so much throw I regret it 😳😆…. Definitely decreased the travel through for a temporary adjustment. Works great but I’m still getting used to it. Just a different bigger airframe than like the Timber X for 3D aerobatics. Yeah my neighbors got that Ultimate and we set it up but forgot SAFE. He only flies in SAFE about 3/4 of the time. So I have to rebind it for him and set up SAFE and fly!!! It is surprisingly big for a 950mm plane your right 😂 lol.

Where do you have your CG? Mine is still tail heavy with a 4s 3200

I use a 4S 2200 and just put it right in the middle of the battery bay. If I were you I’d try to move it forward as much as you can. The area for the battery is fairly small so I just kind of throw mine in and strap it down but it still shifts in flight some. Thanks for commenting!
