St Lucia is awesome. First time I anchored there we tied up stern to a palm tree on the beach between the Pitons. Only boat there! This was in the early seventies before the the resort was built. Obviously things have changed, but it's still one of my favorite islands down that way.

So happy to find your Channel. I really admire you and all your adventures. It is great to see. I understand your boundaries with not wanting to film other folks and be present with them. Also what a wonderful interaction with the island women, you're planting a seed perhaps, that there are other ways to live in the world. That is a beautiful thing. I've been a Solo Traveler myself for many years, I lived full-time in an RV and traveled around the USA. I'd love to do what you're doing but just think it might be past my time. I only have basic sailing skills. So in a way, I'm living vicariously through you. What a great adventure. How empowering to live your dream. Happy Sails! I am in ME, Eastport. Diane 😊👍🌊☀️⛵️🌎

I sail on a tidal river and sometimes with just the right amount and direction of wind, you can sail against the current, tacking back and forth across the river for hours and still be in the same spot in relation to your starting point. So I know that stationary feeling very well!

As soon as I see that you posted another video I immediately watch it I enjoy your videos wish I could contribute I'm going to sell my home and buy something for cash then I can contribute and I've noticed that you have one heck of a tan going on. On the thought of you're actually going backwards in 2007 I was doing a delivery on a 2005 lagoon 440 from Fort Lauderdale Florida to North Shore Haleiwa Oahu and after leaving Panama City after going through the Panama Canal we were sailing north towards Playa del Coco Costa Rica and I was first mate the captain was a complete pain in the ass I was on watch but I knew we weren't getting anywhere in fact I knew we were going backwards it was nighttime and I hesitated for approximately half an hour before I woke up the captain Captain Jim and said I think we're going backwards and he said well start the engine then if it wasn't for him I would have already started the engine but since he was such a pain in the ass I couldn't do anything without checking with his dumbass so I started the engine on the Portside where his cabin was and he immediately said start the other engine I'm trying to sleep I did it on purpose we ended up having a great voyage but it would have been a lot better if I didn't have to check in with Captain Jim for every decision to be made

i think you should continue to do things the way you are, this is your life after all and were just along for the ride, they people that want to see more will be fine, i myself dislike being filmed randomly by a stranger, lol. i personally believe you meet more people who are cool without a camera, who wants to have a conversation if you have a camera on pointed at them all day. then again, i personally dont like most human beings. thats just how i feel, i agree with what you said, even though it's youtube, i think its fine to not film everything.
