First time viewer, I love seeing hands on builds. How long difficult did you find learning to tune?

I read about it for a few years while I was building my rx7 and from there started on a buddies car and been tuning ever since. The only difference now a days is I can tune things a lot faster than when I first started.

Not related to the tune...I did wind up destroying a piston bit that was because I had a bad crank sensor but it was the last event if the year and I kept driving with the engine loosing crank signal every 2 seconds lol

Yes instagram is danmo349....I use megasquirt to tune with its a fairly cheap complete stand alone package. But they have a whole manual on running and installation.

It was super tight I just did a rubber hose

I did a bash bar cause it's a drift car so I can't say how it fits with the stock setup. And it's still running great.

328 it was an m52 and Yea I tune cars so it wasn't that big of a deal for me...although the first engine had a bad bearing that showed up after a few months I put another engine in that I found out on first start up had low compression in 2 of the cylinders but still ran it for a few events. I would say m50 are more accepting to boost. Since I've tuned 6 of them with stock internals and they're still kick strong after a few years of track abuse.

Yea that's how it works though ecu is always the expensive part bit you gotta do it...I know there are guys out there that can tune the stock dme. I'm not one of then though hahaha
