The flooding looked terrible, sad to see such bad damage to so many narrow boats. Glad you were ok. Laundromats are fun - once in a while. So happy to have my own washer and dryer. Sounded like that wash trip was needed for you, tough. I never thought much about how challenging laundry can be on a boat. Fun speeded up video of the locks you went though. An ocean away and I get a sinking feeling in the pit of stomach when I hear of the damages caused by the storms to the canal network and of course the boats. Suffered the threat of flooding along with the Foxes eh! Which worried you most, flood or Foxes, especially on live broadcast night! Great vlog again, the pictures of the boats that suffered in the storms were awful though!🥺😪 we had a tree with a trunk about 3 or 4ft across come down on the other side from our mooring during Dennis! Luckily it missed us, and as it fell at an angle only the branches hit the boats opposite where it fell. Now it’s a supply of firewood! Keep up the good work, pity Debbie doesn’t appreciate the deprivations you go through Mark, just to save her doing too much washing!🙃

Thanks both of you for the weather update, shame the camera wasn't rolling during the wobble jetty escapade. I lived onboard my 10m wooden cabin cruiser for 2 years while working at Heathrow, she was moored near Wraysbury on the Thames. summers were great as I was moored at the end of my mates garden, so had use of BBQ and wait for it swimming pool!!!!!! Winter were another thing, walking the frozen plank after swing shift or a couple of pints was not for the faint hearted. The river in flood brought trees and all kinds of rubbish with it, I was awaken with a knocking sound that sounded large, ventured along the landing stage to find a gas bottle on the starboard side and the top part of a BBQ port side attached by the hose. So now I had a spare bottle the BBQ was junked. laundry I did at w/e's when I drove home. When on cruising it was stamping on my larges while taking a shower and laundromat's for the other stuff. Some you could get a serviced wash, so I could do some shopping and beer testing. Summertime was great knocking off at 3pm, G&Ts in the cockpit, a gentle cruise up to Windsor for dinner, or down the Runnymede. Stay brave and keep the vids coming.

We used a small hand cranked chain ferry to cross from the park to the town quite unusual. Also the trip boat run by the same company was electric all very environmental friendly, not so sure what the lad doing the cranking thought. Have enjoyed our visits to Stratford on Avon.

I was looking forward to see some more of you and the Silverfox crew together, as I fancy it would be the funniest show in UK: But you managed to do it all by yourselves when talking about washing, oscillating landings and crawling backwards through duckpoo. I know all the problems as I have a small 20ft yacht by the sea, and these passing storms has made the water levels shift constantly over the last month. so I run through the washing bin to find my cleanest dirty shirt! 😂 My thoughts went wandering off by themselves and I started to fantasy over an old line from "On a sunday morning sidewalk" when you were talking washing troubbles. Yes, a full size automatic washing machine, its just that we couldn't get to a water point so we were rationing water which is why we went to the laundrette
