The truck been ran hot with a low grade oil ?

Truck had a oil cooler bundle failure. Not sure how long it was cross contaminating. I replaced the bundle and the new one had a bad seal, so a shift later it got another. Then about 5 weeks later it started with a rod knock. Then it went under the knife for a complete rebuild.

Was pump housing already cracked or bolt to long ?

Pump housing had a crack running length of the hole.

Is that your trip axle dump truck ? How many tons do you haul with it ? How does the truck do with power? I'm asking because I like to buy mack dump truck with 6 axle but only has E6 -300hp seems a little under power for 20-23 tons it will carry ?

An E6 300 will carry 23 ton all day long after a 600 horse has died. They run forever, just don't expect to get there first.

I bought the truck really great truck , it has alot of power very shocked and impressed with it.. it was re geared from stock ratio 6.14 i think this thing will run 70-75mph on highway very impressed with it so far has 8 speed Mack transmission never had a Mack or driven one always had Petes 379 & kw w900 but I really truely think these trucks are great they have power and built to last very impressed with this Mack

What I was saying is that a 300 horse Mack will out live any 600 horse power house any day . With proper maintenance, it will just keep running. Period, they run forever. Just doesn't make all that highway running horse power.

@@mlhrepairsllc6942 ok understood, mines only has 277k original miles was inter plant construction vehicle west coast very good shape all around .. truck runs amazing, also had question not sure if your familiar with this Mack suspension theirs not leaf spring only solid beam .. do you what suspension this might be ?

Yes that suspension is a SW80. Not a common suspension.
