I knew there was a difference, I was looking into getting a 530i but all the taillights don’t have the lci I first seen the m5 in gran turismo 5 and fell in love with the taillights, I might not be able to afford an m5 but I just want those taillights

@@JustBuilds Check first at local scrap, find a BMW e60 2007/2010 LCI model, and get the cables, or you can find them on eBay retrofit wiring harness lights BMW e60. I haven't decided yet, I'm still looking for a scrap yard 😁

Do you sell the plug and play boxes? I have an old set of the Bruce's cable's I was using but the passenger side brakes stop working so I had to go back to the original lights. Can't seem to find no Bruce cables or any other plug and play boxes for sale.

How did you get the led rods to light up instead of the bulbs for the brakes?

they do it from factory, but with main stop lights. He didnt connect the wire that tturns main stop light behind led lines, because i think he didnt replace LM to LM2. LM doesnt have that additional wire to connect main one)

My '06 E60 has the "indicator leds" and LED turn signals but no "fiber optic" rods. Interesting.

Crikey i had the LCI lights on my 2005 6 years ago, Bruce Miranda made them modules first.The only thing with retro fit is they dont light up the circle brake light, i got another E60 LCI far better car with the lights and uprated gearbox.

have you actually just tried connecting the lights up as standard ie just simply changing the light male plug to (if applicable) the new facelift male plug on the new units.... as it seems very OTT to have to change all-sorts of electrical units just for changing "basically" light bulbs.. the light unit is overall irrelevant!! just saying as I'm currently driving the E46 & I've been told the same regarding changing bulb types as I'd get warning lights showing malfunction or bulb out etc!! & yet I've not had a single issue... I've added this comment as "yeah!" I'm currently looking around to upgrade to a E60 5 series

Rosc do you sell / make more of those adapters rather than having error codes go off? I use can bus for my front lights ..converted to led angel eyes and those always go out too. Any suggestions for the fronts too? I have an e60 pre facelift with hid conversion kit from Hella. Thx
