Hey, respectfully, you missed where you turn the tensioner. Completely unnecessary to remove the pulley since that’s not where you turn it. You use a torx in the slot to the immediate right at 4:13 and the pulley turns and releases the belt .

@SoyElTonka the pulley and tensioner were failed due to the assembly being bent but thanks for the input car ran fine after replacement 🤣 also parts were used so I had replaced that plus the pump and reservoir for I believe a total of $50 👀

Yeah I did my own belt and tensioner on my 06 and was wondering why he pointed at the tensioner pulley and not the tensioner itself 😂

You do not have to do any of this job from underneath the car. Also it’s way easier to just remove the 17mm steering line and take the banjo bolt off after the pump is out of the car.

these cars dont take ATF fluid? The 3.0 litres should all take chs11f fluid. This is the casein england anyway, you may want to double check as this could cause some issues down the line.
