I'm British but moved to the USA quite some time ago, I was absolutely shocked to see it fly over our farm in central Wisconsin a couple of hours ago on it's way to the Manitoba air show! When there are only two airworthy Lancaster's in the world and one of them fly's over me at @ 4000 ft it's impressive, I'm glad I got to see one fly again, the last one was in England a while ago, I guess I have seen the whole fleet now!

A FYI fact, this Lancaster a Mk X, was built in Canada, and it and the 400 built there used the Made in America by Packard the 20 series merlin engines, a single stage supercharged version why service ceiling was but 24,000 FT, and they used the American made Hamilton props , also 3,040 Lancaster Mk BIII made in England were also powered by the Packard build in America merlin 20 series engines, thats Allied co operation !!
