Cool footage! Horror music is not necessary though.

hahaha... No, it didn´t. Let me explain myself. I love documentaries and use them in my lessons with first graders. I must admit this one is good, but the music does not help. An owl hunting is not something creepy, it is just an animal eating. Do you get my point?
@discoteque77689 жыл бұрын
***** People who recorded this are nature lovers. They know there is no cruelty in animal world, just a few basic needs (food, shelter...). There´s nothing scary in eating other animals, I guess you do it everyday. Animals have no choice, you do. However some documentaries make business out of keeping the audience engaged through fear and creepiness. There is where you can tell professional documentaries apart.

Total darkness, if that means absolutely no light, then nothing can see.

🙏🏻 no animal can see In 100% darkness! All animals need some sort of light… owls only need about the light a candle produces to see a long distance at night

No visual information in pure datkness, but they depend more on sound anyway. Like a blind person getting around their house when it's dark. Except that blind person also sees better than any human.

Didn't think I'd ever see terrible "Day for night" in an animal documentary. Clearly it's just daytime and they added a "night time" filter to it...

I don't consider to denigrate a bird over his own right to exist, he's only surviving.

1. staged. 2. Owls don't actually see in total darkness, their ear holes are not aligned on their heads like other animals. One ear hole is higher than the other, and they detect prey by locking onto their sound using longitude and latitude coordinates from their ears. 3. That hunt scene isn't in the dark, it was just photoshopped blue to make it look dark. 2/10 2 because the one piece of information this clip did get right is that owls have serrated wings to make their flight silent. -8 because everything else was wrong and this company stages everything.
