@@Erix7810 I recently bought an almost bone stock 1g DSM with only 55.000 miles on the clock. It's in really good shape, and the only thing changed are rims and the fog lights/high beams. My plan is to find original parts, and baby it for as much as I can

Chrysler made a big mistake getting rid of the Talon.

Wasn't their car to begin with......it was a Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi got rid of the 4g63 awd eclipse's/talons because they were bringing the lancer EVO over and didn't was competition between its own models.

I need some help. I own a 1990 Eagle Talon AWD that has 49,000 miles on it. I put every mile on it myself. I parked it back in 2005 and it has just been sitting under a carport since then. I want to bring it back to life and just mod the Bejesus out of it. Can someone hook me up with someone in the Houston area that can do that?

I know this is an older comment but couldn't help but respond. My opinion, don't mod it all too much. I car with that low mileage and stock ought to be preserved in original form, especially if you are the original owner. go to the form DSMtuners there is a lot of info on these cars. If I were you, try to do the work yourself, theres a learning curve but its well worth it money wise and for me at least the work is part of the fun part. Anyway I wouldn't even try to start it without checking the timing belt and draining the fuel system. Also get some ATF and let it sit in the cylinders to help lubricate and free up the piston rings before you crank it over. Let me know what happens, if you see this comment at all.
