Really nice! The way you used the original sample as triplets in the beat was great, and your finger drumming was spot on. Get a direct audio out of that for better sound, would really love to hear it that way.

Thanks man! i'll take a look into it. To be honest, my mixing capabilities need some honing on this particular setup (I'm used to working from fruit loops with all it's eq tools, haha!) Will post it here if I get it up though!

Update: I'm an idiot and didn't save the sample (i recorded it from the iPad mic). Will keep an ear out for it though...maybe it'll jump out at me while doing my regular chilling out to exotica :)

Seems like a fun setup! Is it possible to edit the start and end positions of samples from the mpd218? Cheers!

While i hadn't bothered, i don't know if you'd really need or want to. Chopping is so easy in koala it's insane! imagine just doing a quick drag of a sample into a pad and then dragging your finger across a wave...lol I'd definitely check out koala sampler if you hadn't yet!

@@anjovimusic Yep I tried it, I agree it's awesome! Just don't really like using my touchscreen, so I hope many things can be mapped ;) or maybe in future upgrades. Thanks, and keep up the good stuff!

@@naiveloops Just checked. Yeah, it doesn't have the mapping function in the edit screen. Don't see why it couldn't be a thing in the future though. Would be as easy as having a button to assign to edit, and an ability to assign knob 1 for the left side of the wave and knob 2 for the right side of the wave. Might have to shoot the dev an email.

@@anjovimusic Yeah I think I will suggest that for a future patch, we'll see... Thanks for the info! Sorry I just realized I could also see the mappings even tho I don't have a controller, dumb me.
