You are extra fabulous because you were up early, enjoyed the beautiful sunrise shaded clouds, and you showed what was and was not found on your journey for the day. Never feel disappointed if you find nothing. You always find something, it is just not up to what you are looking for, and you leave it for someone else. All/most divers are looking for different stuff. What you want is/maybe not what someone else wants. Keep enjoying the days.

I like when there's not a lot to find! Maybe society is getting the hint that waste and filling up landfills is not OK! Finding all those perfectly good t shirts actually pissed me off, so this dive restored some hope that not all places everyday load the dumpster with usable stuff! Carry on!

I look at not finding anything as, someone beat me or nothing was thrown out. Either way, less going into the landfills which is a great thing. You’re doing great work!

Yes, I like it when you show the reality of not finding stuff. It isn't representative when you all (dumpster divers) just show us all the stuff you find - it tends to make those of us watching that there is always a ton of stuff! - oh, that picture frame was worth the dive!

I only go to two dumpsters next to each other and sometimes I go there and they are empty or have garbage in them, but sometimes they have craft stuff or paper I can use. Like you it's all bout getting out and having fun.

I enjoy watching and hearing what is on your mind. Finding nothing is realistic and happens much more often than actually finding something. It doesn't matter if you find anything or not, it's just always nice to see you and Pilgrim of course! Life is tough and its really hard to work through things. Take it one day at a time. Sometimes it's minute by minute or hour by hour, other times a week or two goes by and suddenly you feel like your back to square one. It's okay, just remember to take a deep breath and let go of the things you cannot change and start trying to change the things you can Keep coming back to us we miss you and we care about you.

many years ago when my husband and i used to go to the big flea market in our city --we went after hours when you could get in free and look through and take stuff people left behind-- i ran into a woman who was a teacher. she collected old photos like you found. she took them to her classroom and handed out a photo to each student. their assignment was to write a story about the photo and who or what was in it: people, animals, house, AND they had to create a story of what was happening or happened. creative writing. it was a brilliant way of teaching the students. that was 25 years ago and i still remember her.

Real diving! I have gone to 40 or 50 dumpsters and maybe find something in 2 or 3, if i am lucky. Sometimes thats the way of it. You said it "it gets you out and about." Love it.

The videos that show only the massive hails of other divers are the ones that make me feel bad about not getting anything sometimes. Truth is that more often than not there use only a small quantity in the finds. I have gotten a few large hauls (like the Funko pops) but it's just dry sometimes!

One way to look at it is, when you don’t find anything, nothing iswasted. Nothing going to the landfill unnecessarily. It also might free up some time to list things or do inventory.
