Great info again, Dr. Tom!! In spite of eating, VERY low carbs and mostly protein and organic super healthy diet. I'm riding my bike 5 to 6 miles every day, weight training, 200 jumping jacks, and push-ups a day, and im very lean. fasting glucose is still 110-115, very frustrating! I have terrible genetics for diabetes. 😢 I was way better when i was taking Berberine. It was 90-92 fasting. But it really thins my blood?? Btw, could have done without the gnarly toes..lol Maybe I need to come see you. I'm just down the road.

maintaining good blood glucose control can significantly improve skin conditions in individuals with diabetes. High blood sugar levels can lead to various skin issues, including dry skin, infections, and slow-healing wounds. When blood sugar levels are kept within a normal range, the risk of these complications decreases, and existing skin conditions often improve. Proper diabetes management, including regular monitoring of blood glucose, a healthy diet, regular exercise, and possibly medication, can help maintain skin health. Additionally, good skincare practices, such as moisturizing and protecting the skin, are important.

Ok, I am gonna take the time to explain things. Your liver makes all the glucose you need under the catabolic action of glucagon moderated by insulin. Any glucose (you know, carbs; all starches and sugars) you consume is not really needed and presents a problem of storage and disposal for the body. If you constantly eat and drink sugars and starches your pancreas will be gushing insulin and you will develop insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. No matter what your blood glucose level is, your tissues are saturated with glucose leading to all the usual diabetic issues. All this because we eat glucose we do not need

@@DrTomBiernackiCome to Arkansas! We need you here! 😊 You're a true blessing to your profession. I really like your positive support in all your videos. It's very encouraging to continue on the path to health and wellness. And much of it can be controlled through diet and physical activity. Genetics can play a role, but it's not hopeless in that case.

Regarding Orthofeet. Since you collab with them maybe you should really push getting styles for pretty much any younger generation because basically the shoes that they have either look like my great great great great great great great grandmother shoes, what are the type of shoes they used to give to people with mental disabilities like down syndrome. Just my opinion

Sorry if I didn't watch every second of your video, I jumped around. Did you mention papillomas and warts? I have papillomas on several places on my body, mostly on my neck, and I have more warts than ever. Not too many, but I had removed one on the hand, on my cheek, above my knee, on my chest. Of course, I think they are caused by viruses, but I didn't have them before I got diabetes 2. That is, I had only one on my finger when I was very young, that is all.
