Girl, I FEEL you. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and teaching digitally too and it's a whole new level of chaos. The game sounds super fun and silly; I'll have to try it with my second graders too! I also found that my kids were OBSESSED with "Guess the animal booty." Basically took zoomed in pictures of animal backsides and they were in teams trying to guess what animal it was. It was completely silly but they loved it!

That is sad for the one student who won't return :( We are going back hybrid in a few weeks as well, but we don't have our lists of who is returning yet! I hope it's a lot but I fear it won't be because my principal says it's only about 50/50 of those that have responded so far.

I have a student in my class that reads at a Level J. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to challenge her. I teach kindergarten . She knows all her sight words for kindergarten, can segment, and has a great vocabulary too

In Easel, can students delete the text boxes on accident like on Google slides? Are you able to add images to move and can those images be locked so student's can't change size or delete? I hope that makes sense.

Hi Crystal, Student's will not be able to delete the text boxes you've created within Easel Activities. You also have the ability to add moveable shapes that students will not be able to delete.

Good luck. Be prepared to feel as if you are teaching 2 classes at one time. I have been doing this since August, and it takes some getting used to.
