I believe you have 5gb per line for data pass through the hotspot.I'm assuming per month. I would recommend turning on unrewarded data pass through once you hit your data limit to stay connected if not once you hit your data limit you'll be bounced off the WiFi hotspot.

Ha..Ditto on the Helium Network trials and tribulations! I'm just a couple miles away from Justin, so I can only speak for the Front range area service quality....I've had the service for a month now.Pretty neat.Service is equivalent to T-Mobile/ Mint/Boost mobile plans.I get 2.5k to 5k per day in Mobile tokens.I believe that is due to the route I drive daily.I have been trying to take scenic drives through the residential areas, in an effort to earn more.I'm more upset that I didn't find out about it earlier.My work pays you to have your own cell, and I just bought a year plan on Mint a couple months ago 😡 At any rate, the service works great.I may have to gift out some phone plans this year. 🤔

The only requirement to be eligible for maximum mobile rewards is just move your phone a little bit each day. I just make sure to take my phone on a walk or with me to work every day and that makes me eligible. At this point in time everyone gets the same amount of rewards, its not distant dependant.

That's why when people say its better that these things are set up in bars or coffee shops i don't see the point if people cant have access to the WIFI. Correct me if I'm wrong please. On the mapping feature is it looking for wifi hotspots or 5G, or just coverage in general. I'm guessing the mapping is looking if it is on T-Mobile or on Helium for service. What I need to know is, does the phone have to be 5G to get tokens when mapping?

You need to look at how much you can invest, your ROI, and your long term earning potential. Short term CBRS seems better. Long term WIFI might be the call assuming your in an area for data transfer.

Thank you for the prompt response. I live in a residential area in Palmetto, FL. Not sure it will be good for future data transfer. So, a short term of CBRS (one year) might be good to consider and adding the Wifi antenna like 4-5 months down the road. I'm planning to put $2.5K - 3K as a start. @@DoItJustinKace

Actually you don’t. You just need to be logged in to the Helium Mobile app on whatever device you want to use the mapping feature with. It does NOT need to be the actual device with the Helium service. I use my iPhone that does not have Helium service for mapping while my iPad uses the actual Helium service and is left at home.

Not sure that’s true. Maybe add the app and put your IMEI in and see what they say. But probably the phone needs to be unlocked.
