Hate to break it to you, but they are not making 100% of the purchase price. They are making 50% of it. So for that $12 book, they are most likely making $6 off of it. Probably less with the printing costs. So maybe $4 to $5 per sale. Been in publishing for 20+ year.

Just tried to generate a few kids book titles and then cross-googled parts of them to see if there won't be any plagiarism. In fact, ChatGPT's variants were all about something that already exists. So, if you go ahead, accept AI's suggestions and do generate & publish a book eventually, there's a high risk of getting into legal issues because of overlapping characters names and storylines. It's just not that easy for AI to invent something really unique, it's how it's programmed to re-use pieces of information but wrap it under a different sauce.

Well to be fair, the "author" stills needs to be involved to direct the AI's output into something more original with more inputs. You don't just use these programs to do EVERYthing for you, even though, they do a lot of "heavy-lifting".

The books you mentioned in the beginning of the video were not created by AI and rather were amongst the few very first books ever added to Amazon back when Amazon was only selling books. For them to get so many reviews does make sense after all it had been more than almost 50 years since those books first appeared on Amazon

I liked your video, thanks! Here is a tip that I used. If I get an image that looks good but there is a tree branch floating in the air, for example. I know that it will not look good in a book or to sell as a print, so I take it to Canva. Then I used their eraser tool, erase the image and it will take it out and replace it with whatever the background is. Another tip. AI usually has problems making hands, so if possible, if the image is good I crop the picture if possible.

Excellent tutorial but honestly there's a lot you need to understand more in regards to a copy written direct selling because you are practically 80% there but the extra 20% really is about pre-selling the book and copywriting and that is fundamental, plus I believe that the front cover does not help as it needs to be much more brighter with more engaging brighter colours reflective of the star of book you're selling that is a simple tweak and I'd encourage you to do that 💯 Psychology selling, would you believe there sometimes the darker the cover of the book, psychologically the more resistant the purchaser will be 🤷🏽‍♂️🤔🧐 I guarantee if you just review and tweak, don't forget you can use AI to help, and you do a different video with an updated version of your instructions, guaranteed you'll get sales 💯💕

The biggest problem with using AI to do all this stuff is you can't copyright it at all, so anyone can just steal the contents and release under a new name. Cause the copyright laws state the content has to be made by a person, there was a case where someone created their own comic book and tried to copyright it and it got denied because the images were generated with AI.

The main thing is to this kind of stuff cause you enjoy it not start doing it cause you wanna make money. Over all it can take time to start getting sales but the more books you list the better chances you have at getting a sale.

Something for people to seriously consider is that just putting a book up on Amazon is not necessarily going to generate the same income as other books that are selling well. Some feedback for the video - lose the yellow writing. If you want to have writing accompanying the video, then have it on the screen like subtitles in a movie, sentences or phrases, rather than individual words racing on and off the screen. Super annoying. But everything else was good.

No mention that you need to check the A.I. generated text against detection and plagiarism. You’ll most likely will need to modify any output to make it your own otherwise the KDP algorithm may flag your book with a possibility of losing your account.

They will just send u an email to ask n confirm from u, whether u are the author (or team who draws, if u r solo, then just state is a solo work will do) and hold the copyright etc, and reply to them. They will check (generally few days) and allow the book to be on the platform.

You're forgetting one important fact and that is that if Amazon is printing these books for you You're only walking away with a few dollars off of each book you sell so you're not making as you said 32,000 you may end up making three grand that's if you actually sell that many

Hey Lance, good question. Since there are little to no costs with this strategy, almost all revenue made is profit. As far as how much, there is such a wide spectrum from sellers. I wish the book example were more realistic. For example “the good egg” is a book common In Teacher classrooms. It’s also a well know children’s book series. One other was originally from 1983. Of course it will do better as that book has a long history. Parents might have had that book on their shelves as a kid. Brand or author recognition accounts for how well these books sold.

Although I'd never heard of it, I noticed that It's Not Easy Being a Bunny is published by a major publisher and has an "I Can Read It All By Myself" logo that lends credibility. It's #17 in sales! I'm not saying that this video is not valuable, because it is, but don't expect results such as these examples. (And I'm sure the bunny book has generated a lot more than $103,000!)

Chat gpt gives you for example 3 chapters - then you copy chapter 1 and put this into chatgpt again - so chatgpt writes a story about chapter 1 - you repeat the process with all your chapters

Do you get comercial right to sell the images you create to Leonardo in a free account ? In midjurney any paid program- subscription gives you the right to comercially use the images and are under your copywrite. You have to tell this to the people.. so they might not have a problem... @@sandeepmortal What I can say for sure is that images created with MIdjourney paid account subscription you have the exclusivecommercial rights ( sell them put them on videos ect.) for the images you create with the prompts. For the rest you'd better ask, Leonardo team or perhaps it is written in their terms of agreement. Hope this helps.

Do Not use chatgbt in this way. You need to make due diligence that it is not ripping off other writers works. The tos for chatgbt appears to state that if they get sued because of your work using chatgbt they will hire lawyers and fight it in court but then you have to pay the lawyer fees.
