My son is part of this and the change in him has been overwhelming for me. We'll be on the phone and he'll stop and tell me, "Mom, I gotta go, they're praying for someone and I want to be a part of that!" My heart is full!! PLEASE GIVE WARDEN IVY AND CAPT COOPER and all the others the support they need to support our loved ones as they strive to better their lives and other's.

See I have a friend at the Polunsky Unit. He was almost murdered by his cellmate in G-4. Which is supposed to be a punishment that restricts your freedom and keeps you locked down. It is supposed to be more secure than the rest of the prison. It is such an out-of-control scary nightmare at Polunsky that the COs won’t even go in there. He was crying out for help and I did not understand the danger he was in. It hurt my heart so bad I had deaf ears when he was asking me to help him. He was beaten in the head with a concrete block and stabbed in the head with a knife that went in his ear and into his brain an inch and a half. When they went in there to get him out they were so scared to be in there, they did not secure his property and they did not make a crime scene. He died 3 times before he got stable. He had overturned his punishment 20 days or more before the attack and they would not let him move out it was a joke to them to play with his life and safety. The greedy men who built these prisons and pay our entertainers to sing about committing crimes like it is cool. Have gone too far. They have bitten off more than they can chew and these new laws they had made which let them throw us in jail with no proof. They have managed to fill all these prisons that they built. The problem is they did not think ahead to see that they knew how to run them. They cannot keep employees. Anyone with a good heart will suffer working there. The people who do stay, stay because they are sadistic and enjoy hurting others and watching people suffer. They don’t have the resources to feed all the inmates they are starving them. They don’t have the intelligence to keep them safe. They are killing themselves and others in very alarming numbers daily if they are not dying from heat stroke. What is happening here is an abomination that is inhumane. And something has to be done about it. Why are we paying for them to do this to us? Anyone could throw them in a cage and watch them be inhumanely treated like this just to wait for them to kill each other off. We should not have to pay these greedy men to do it for us.
