The projection that the population will peak at the end of the century is wrong, it’s actually peaking in the next couple of decades and set to rapidly decline. Property prices across most of the globe are currently significantly overvalued compared to wages and can’t be sustained and then we’re facing long term year on year declines in houses prices as there will be excess supply growing every year. In short, don’t invest in property for the long term as it’s not got a bright future! The price increases we’ve seen in property over the last 20 years will probably not be seen again in history.

Yeah I think the predictions about population decline are pretty much accurate. Then what exactly will happen in detail is anyone's guess but I don't think it will be pretty. My guess is that at some point there will be a societal collapse resulting in mass starvation...everywhere.
