Earth Sleeving DISPENSER.. Would YOU Use It??

I preferred the original design where it had 1 larger cartridge in the middle for CPC sleeving and then 2 smallers cartridges either side for blue and brown.

£40 is a lot for it. I buy the bigger bundles and cut it down to 10 to 20 m lengtgs and make up tidy little bundles. Works for me.

Great video & a good idea. When I get my 100m rolls I make around 10-20 individual coils with tie wraps and then store the spares in the van. Chuck it around your wrist when needed and right there when you need it. Easy to keep in the bag aswell. Way too time consuming doing the refills on this one I reckon!

im guessing it will come in handy, more so when doing eicrs and fault calls for those sockets you take off and there is no sleeving or they have twisted the cpc together, you would have some handy with you, pros and cons and personal preference imo.

I'm not a sparky, but where is the built in cutter? Either pull to one side to cut, or a push button to cut etc...?

Generally if your using sleeving you will have a pair of cutters on you 👍

@@sotaelectrical I get that. But being able to cut off a rough length first would help. Then use your cutters to trim to exact size. This is not a internet moan. Just feedback for the maker to make it even better. I'm a new subscriber and loving your honesty and knowledge!!!

Had they came out with this 20 years ago i think itd do better. Given earthsure has now come out, and others are discuss the benefits of equal size earth already covered like what is used in euro, i dont think itll take off like it could have

Had one in 1984 ….. exactly the same infact you could get each sleeving and numbers and letters……. So no not bundys idea at all…… was a fad back then …… what is the problem with buying earth sleeve on a roll…..£6 and lasts for years

Good idea I suppose but I’m not fancying having it dangling and clanging on the side of my bag to be honest . I’m happier just leaving the birds nest in the van and just snipping a bit off as you need it. I couldn’t see myself wanting to splash out on refills or faffing about reloading the reels. As I say it’s a good idea but don’t think ide go out of my way to purchase them to be honest!

IMHO Utter waste of time by the time I had wound replacement sleeve onto all those spools I would have had several whatever connected up about a decade late to market and Earthsure is a much better idea.
