Anyone on the fence about this: I've had it on my board for quite a while now and I've put it through just about any situation imaginable from huge, boomy halls to small tight corners that flub your sound into submission under normal circumstances and it's never let me down. This and the prince of tone are the two best od values on the market. You can find several different great sounds regardless of the room your in or your surrounding setup. That's why I use it. If your last setting doesn't work for "this room" (which most gigging guitar players will tell you happens almost every night) it's incredibly easy to switch it up and find something that does.

Anyone on the palisades about this:*

This is the single most complete drive pedal I've ever seen. As much as I love loading as many dirt boxes as I can on my board, this is the absolutely the most efficient use of space for the most flexible and universal drive. I wouldn't mind something like this that mimics a JFET or "Marshall" in a box circuit either. Having 3 stages of gain that work perfectly together is so incredibly useful.

Would this pedal sound ok with a Fender Blues Deluxe?

I think I might get rid of my OCD for this one.

Is that boost at the end of the gain stages out before them? It sounds THICCCC AF

Curtis, this or the T1M The Pearl or the JHS Superbolt? My other drive is the Selah Effects Scarlett Love.

Curtis, Can you do a demo with variable gain? Maybe I’m using this incorrectly but I use Channel A for very low gain… just mild grit and Channel B for a little more crunch. I like the crunchy sound but at lower gain, it just sounds muddy. I tested this with just a Les Paul Pro & American Strat HSS -> Palisades -> Matchless DC30. I know I have all the ingredients for killer tone but I’m not doing something right. Can you do a low gain demo? Or was this use case not the intent? I am on the verge of selling it off for an OCD which has just 3 knobs.

I view this overdrive as stackable gain. I wouldn't run one low gain and the other super high. I would run them relatively similar and then stack them. Then if you want to scream hit the boost. Hope this helps.

Kenton Schroer Thanks. I'll give it a shot. I also have the Little Green Wonder.. I think I might have competing pedals. I might have to check out the Blues Driver or just use the gain on the DC 30 for some mild grit.
