Hello there. This is a recipe I've used for many, many years, it's probably the easiest pie you'll make.
Recipe
For the Pastry
350g Plain Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
200g Fat (your choice, I used half butter and half lard)
1 Egg
plus egg wash for top.
For the Filling
600g Chicken
2 Medium Leeks
500g/ml Chicken Stock
For the Sauce
30g Butter
30g Plain Flour
250g/ml Milk
plus 250g/ml of the poaching stock
Salt & Pepper to taste
