Poor them who listen to you. Not only are you not using a real iSesamo but a bad Cinense copy (look at how the metal stays bent), but you are also using it on the wrong side. The tip of the original iSesamo is hand-sharpened so you can only enter as much as you need. In fact, I see in the comments many who followed you who have irreparably damaged their iPod :( How sad, for a few pennies of difference a certain shi t

@@EliteObsolete Of course I take this seriously. I am the one who invented iSesamo 14 years ago and I still live selling iSesamo. I take it very seriously even when someone uses a registered trademark for their own purpose, causing damage to my reputation. You would therefore be asked to avoid the word iSesamo in the video.

So, question, im just getting into this ipod modding and im finding it very fun and all, but before i spend more bucks i'd like to know a couple things. I got a 30 gb gen 5 ipod with the black glossy front cover (the thing one), and im interested in both upgrading the battery and installing a quad board. But for that to work i'd need the thick case, so... in the interest of both longterm care and personal comfort -- Can you fit an aluminium front cover with a thick backplate combo into that particular configuration? I'm mostly interested in the aluminium cover since it doesn't scratch as much as the glossy one and it's overall better for ease of use.

Well I just ordered a couple of batteries and some of your prison shiv tools to attempt this daring maneuver on my own 6th gen with a weak and slightly swollen battery. Wish me luck. I'll comment back when it arrives and if I'm successful. May the iGods smile upon my endeavors. Also replacing the battery and cracked faceplate on my dad's old 5th gen, but that one's gonna be EASY. The battery is so swollen that the faceplate is actually separating from the back in its own. Frightening. Learned about you from old Dankey Dingus, of course. Been wanting to refurbish my old ipod for YEARS and if this goes well, I may order new Faceplate and backplate to give it a cosmetic overhaul. Just can't decide if I should make it blue, clear, or gold.

Hey what's going on, I ordered some supplies from your store (new 3000 mah battery, iflash quad, and head jack) I put my ipod together and It was working really well for about a week and I put my aux cord in a few days ago and noticed that the ipod wouldn't respond when I pressed the buttons, it wouldn't power up or the screen would not show. I plugged in the cord in my car but the apple screen would keep flashing but when I plug it into a actual socket it would power up and the buttons work again, but when I take the charger out the ipod would shut down again and not respond to any of the buttons...any advice???
