Hello Cheese Lovers!
Today we are making Baked Brie wrapped in a delicious layer of puffy pastry and filled with dry fruit and nuts. This for sure one of the best party starters and only take a few mutes to put all together.
Ingredients:
Brie wheel
Puffy pastry
1 egg
Walnuts
Cranberries
Apricot
Method
Using a sharp knife slice the Brie in half.
Add in your favorite dry fruit and nuts and press the two half together firmly.
Place the prepared brie over a sheet of puffy pastry and cut the excess pastry, a diameter of about 5cm should be enough to cover the brie if you are using a small brie wheel.
Wrap the brie with the pastry by folding and tucking the pastry as you move along.
Gently press all together with the seam facing down.
Brush with egg-wash.
Place in a baking tray lined with baking sheet and bake at 180C / 356F for about 20 minutes or until the pastry is puffed up and golden.
