Your car's visors are meant to wedge the tops of the umbrella down. On the umbrella covers the rear view completely.

Are you not using the visors to hold the foldable shade into place when you put it in for use? I was thinking you didn't do that because of the used of a garage door opener or perhaps a radar detector or GPS unit clipped onto them but guessing as the visor is generally used to support those folding shades. My big question is what brand or where did you get the folding window shade that you were replacing? It has a cutout on it that looks like it may work well on my 2023 Hyundai Elantra. Nice video, but I believe these are out of stock by this particular company.

Why not just use the car's visors to hold up the foldable shade? That's literally how you keep it in place in your car.

You install the umbrella shade wrong put it over the rearview mirror and then put the sun visors down to hold it in place! I love it I have no problems with it.

If you want something that works like so much better. Just get a regular cover and put it on the outside of the glass. This thing is just radiating heat back inside your car. It makes no sense

Does the handle of the umbrella used many times (by friction) destroy the skin of the car dashboard?

I'd say it's about the same as a regular sunshade, but so much easier to deploy and remove, so I use it way more often than the big folding shades.

Did you not read the most basic of instructions on nearly every windshield sunshade??? Use the visors to hold up the sunshade. My god. Don't do a video until you know how to use the product.

I actually bought one and was SOOOO excited when I got it and immediately went to my brand new 2022 Honda civic hatchback to try it out BUT WAS SOOO DISAPPOINTED!!.. My car has a permanently placed dash tablet for car controls, So the umbrella visor wouldn't fit!!..UGH I was so disappointed!!.. I wish they'd make another kind of umbrella visor type to accommodate this dash tablet problem!!!...😢

That's okay you don't want one of these anyways. Get a regular cover that goes on the outside of the windshield. This dumb product just radiates heat back inside of your car

If you don't like getting inside of a hot car don't buy this product. It's so dumb. The thermal shielding needs to be on the outside of the windshield. This is just reflecting heat back onto the interior of the glass which will mostly be repelled back into the car. You needed to go on the outside of the glass so that it reflects the heat outside. Also this light takes up so much room on the inside of your car if you're planning on staying in your car and using this. It's just not necessary. It takes 2 seconds to lay it on the top of the glass
