Easiest Sri Lankan Thattai Vada Recipe in Tamil

A quick and easy vada recipe that is sure to impress anyone!
Recipe Ingredients:
Urad Dhal (split) - 1 cup
All-Purpose Flour - 2 cups
Steamed Flour - 2 cups
Small Onions - 3
Curry Leaves - Handful
Fennel Seeds - As needed
Crush Chilli Flakes - As needed
Salt - As needed
Water (room temperature) - As needed
Vegetable Oil - 2-3 tablespoons for the recipe and as needed for frying

Rajni Vaidyaraj Thank you! This is steamed all-purpose flour, you can steam it at home but I would recommend you buy it from a Sri Lankan grocery store.

Thavamalar Kumarasamy yes, you can do that. Just make sure to use a paper towel on the top and bottom to protect the flour from the hot steam. I will also upload a video within a couple days detailing how to make steamed flour at home.

A Actually instead of bleached..etc.. unhealthy all purpose floor original version could be rice floor/ red rice some thing like that . People should refrain from using it... All purpose floor was introduced during famine (.panjam)
