One note, I don't believe you NEED to place the Keystone into the Tower before you start. When I placed mine in, it already have me the message for having talked to a few NPCs, despite talking to them beforehand.

This is correct. But if you’re going for another Spiritomb you need to place another keystone. Easiest way to keep track of your NPCs for this reason.

Do you only have a certain amount of time to speak to the 32 npcs, does it expire after a certain amount of time or a number of times in and out of the underground??

It can’t be just 32 NPC’s, they have to be 32 *different* NPC’s. That’s why you have to make a list as you go. The reason yours said “slightly shaking” is because a few of your 32 must’ve been repeats, so you still need to find more.

You need to speak to 32 DIFFERENT NPCs. The reason we force spawn them is to accelerate the process rather than coincidentally getting to 32

@@CurseShaka Yes, but it’s important to note that each sprite has *several* different NPC’s that use the exact same sprite/appearance. So it’s important to talk to ALL of them, even if it’s one you’ve already seen dozens of times. Because you never know when that same looking sprite will have a different name. So as annoying as it is, we can’t ignore an NPC just because it *looks* like the same one as before.

By “every single”, do you mean NPC’s with 32 *different* names? Or just every single one you happened to see while you were down there? Because most of them are very rare and have a very low spawn rate, so it’s unlikely that you’ve talked to all of them. There’s actually MORE than 32 of them.

i have found 30/32 npcs and the last ones available are in the battle zone area, how do i find the last 2 without beating the elite four?? (Reggie, Blaire, Troye, Harper are the ones left)

You can find the last two by force spawning them. You can get all NPCs as soon as you have access to the underground. Enter and exit Pokemon Hideaways and search for NPCs over and over until you've spawned your missing NPCs. Additionally, the description has two links that are helpful. One for the primary location of spawns and the other with a spreadsheet to keep track.

@@crimson4932 You don’t need the battle zone area. You can get ALL 32 from a single zone. It takes longer and is very tedious and monotonous, but it can be done. Just keep going in and out of caves to reset and force them to respawn.

Thanks for the guide and map! They were quite helpful, especially for mapping NPC spawn locations. However, I think there's an error in the analysis. It seems like each route has 1 common NPC, and that any NPC at all has a chance of spawning there otherwise. First, I got 2 NPCs per route according to the map, and I got up to 29 before I got stuck. I went to the farthest east route in the Eterna Entrance area and farmed to get my last 3 NPCs. There, I met Dilan 15 times and other NPCs 11 times, once or twice each. It seems to me that you could farm encounters in one route and get them all eventually...I was there for 20 minutes and found 9 non-Dilan NPCs. I would guess that if you farmed one route, wherever you can meet people fastests, you could get all 32 in about an hour or so. Not sure though! Just thought I'd share this to help other hunters. At least, it's possible that there are more Any% routes than those shown on the map, and the rates aren't bad.
