Amazing. I think you have the tips I have been looking for. I’m placing a video/material on a column. The video will be an animated wine label. The cylinder will be a bottle of wine. I dont want any tiling and want to place the video right where I need it. I think your videos might get me there. Thoughts?

You have 2 options: 1. Unwrap your mesh to exactly fit your video. That is if you're familiar with unwrapping. 2. Scale and offset your material until it looks how you want it to look on the mesh. How can I independently control the UV of only one side of the model?

I guess you could make a different material element. Or change it with unwrap. I don't know if masking only one side of the mesh works or not. Either way, I'd go with adding material element or changing the unwrap.

@@degasjan8411 changing the uv with unwrap is the optimized method that games use. Butif you want to animate the material on just one section, then masking that section in the material is the best method. But if you don't want to animate, change the UVs
