Thanks! I'll see if I can put together a new video with the best application tips, but here's the one I made previously and it all still holds true today: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXyzYXSFi8ecp5o The only main changes are that they've become more selective than years ago, a lot of it has to do with timing of application unfortunately, and that you can reapply as many times as needed by using a different email address (I've spoken to a lot of people now who have been accepted on their 2nd/3rd/7th/etc try applying with a different email address). Once you're in, you're in, and it's well worth it to spend the effort on the front end 👍

Main thing people need to know about is that YOU have to pay for the order first out of your own bank account or credit card and then later you will get the money put back plus profit. If you don’t have the money upfront, you don’t get to sell POD anything.

great videos greg how many designs should we create a day and how many designs in each merch informer niche should we create to hit 10k a month
@GregGottfried6 ай бұрын
Thanks! As far as earnings, over a long stretch of time it averages out to about $1/per active listing/per month (and that goes for all the sites). Hope that makes sense, 100 shirts posted on 3 different sites for example is about $300/mo total (or $100/mo from each site). Every time you make a sale, you'll get between $2-$10 profit depending on how big the margin is set on that product. Teepublic sets the prices for you, but all the other sites let you set your own prices and profit margin. The $1 I'm talking about is to give you an average on overall accounts earnings per month. You may have 100 designs live, but only make 20 sales that month. Not every design will sell every month. So if we are averaging between $2-10 per sale (and we got 20 per month) that averages $100 profit that month. With 100 designs, that comes out to about $1 per active design on the account. So for $10,000 per month, that's about 3,333 designs total (uploaded to all 3 sites). It sounds like a big number at the start, but once you start cranking out designs, you can get to 50 designs per day pretty quickly. As for how many designs in each sub niche, I aim for 20-40 before moving on to the next. I hope that helps!

Hey Greg. You have mentioned before to create 10-40 designs per niche, what would be a better strategy, staying at the lower end 10-20 getting through more sub niches or the higher end 30-40? Thanks for the help.
@GregGottfried6 ай бұрын
Great question Patrick, and hope you're doing well! It's going to come down to the specific sub niche because some of them have so many good slogans and design templates that you're going to end up wanting to make every bit of the 30-40. Others many be super small but still a good niche, so getting to just 10 may still be a challenge. I think you'll get the feel for it the more you start going into. I know that's not a direct solution, but I hope that's helpful to break it down a bit more.

There's no easy answer to that. It's going to depend on what your products are, who your niche is (are they big enough, over-catered to, big spenders, upsellable etc) are your designs good enough, do you pay to promote, what site fees and subs you pay for, costs or commission for each sale, etc etc. Making 10k a month and having 10k income/profit at the end of that are two *very* different things.

Hi Greg. Thanks for det video. Do you change the price on your amazon shirts? What price do you recommend? Also how many designs do you need to upload to reach the goal of 10000 dollars a month? Do you think it is possible to reach this goal without doing ads in 2024?
@GregGottfried6 ай бұрын
Thanks! Alright a bit of a long answer but here it goes: Once you're accepted to Amazon, put your best 10 shirt designs up first. Set the pricing to just a dollar or two above cost to entice the sales early on. Once you start tiering up, bump the pricing up another couple dollars to between $17-$20 as the sweet spot. It sounds like a big number at the start, but once you start cranking out designs, you can get to 50 designs per day pretty quickly. Lastly, you definitely do not need ads to get to this amount of profit in 2024. I hope that helps!

Excellent question! Google Drive is my go-to actually. They charge $9.99/mo for 2TB of storage. I've never come close to filling it, but it's nice to have a ton of storage. They even start at 15GB for free, and only $2.99/mo for 100GB I believe. It's actually a really good deal in my opinion. Just as a side note, I've done actual physical hard drives before and it's too much of a hassle and inconvenience compared to just being able to upload directly to Google Drive.

Hey no worries! I'll see if I can put together a designated video on this but it's just because it's a brand new account. They do this so brand new accounts that use bots to upload thousands of designs automatically don't all show up on the marketplace as spam.

Why did you chose woodworking? How about other niches?
@GregGottfried6 ай бұрын
Any of the niches will work so they can all be treated equally. The key is putting them into merch informer to find all the sub niches. I chose woodworking just to use a good example, but you can go through the entire list, and then search for 50 more to have unlimited opportunities. Another good tip is you can switch hobbies to occupations or locations or many other things, and then use all of those results in merch informer to find low competition sub niches. I hope that helps clarify!

Once you're in, you're in, and it's well worth it to spend the effort on the front end.

No worries! You can upload designs in any niche and you don't have to stay specific to any single niche. The strategy shown is for finding the opportunities within niches, and then creating several designs in each one of those before moving onto the next niche.

Do I have to manually type this elsewhere? Its asking form my card details already so I am afraid I missed my change to enter your affiliate code. Thanks so much for helping!

Also can you tell me the difference between affiliate marketing and digital marketing? They make them both look so easy but I'm pretty sure I've bought both programs and got half way through and it is not as easy as they say and a little expensive having to buy other things to make it work. Any advice would be appreciated. I am loving your videos. Also is there something that is easy and can produce money right away? I don't mind putting in the hard work but I need something that will give me real money like in a week. All these things I'm working on takes so long to actually get results. Sometimes no results at all after months of work! Sorry I am going on. Again thank you for any advice you can give me. Have a wonderful day.

In UK Amazon has restrictions as to the number of designs you can upload. It starts at 10 and there is no information as to how you move to the next tier which is 15 designs. This is so frustrating

approximately (rough estimate) t-shirts would you need to list on these 3 sites to make $10K per month? Said another way, on average what can we expect to be paid per month per shirt listed?
@GregGottfried5 ай бұрын
Great question! As far as earnings, a rough average is about $1/per active listing/per month (and that goes for all the sites). All that to say, about 3000 designs and posting them to 3 sites. I hope that helps!

I started my TeePublic account but was classified apprentice. How do I get sales? Do I need to bring my own traffic by using ads? Or social media posts? How to people see my designs otherwise? So frustrating.
@GregGottfried5 ай бұрын
Hey Heather, I'll talk about this in more detail in this weeks coming video but it's just because it's a brand new account. Essentially, they label every new account as "Apprentice" but it automatically changes to "Artisan" once you upload enough designs and they see you're not a bot spamming the platform. They do this so brand new accounts that use bots to upload thousands of designs automatically don't all show up on the marketplace as spam.

How I can put my items price?
@GregGottfried6 ай бұрын
In regards to setting the price, on Teepublic the price is set for you (so they can run sales and promotions). However, on all the other sites we are able to set our own prices and therefore determine how big our profit margin is per item.
