Another cool detail is that pencils turn into swords in the Dark World. You can tell because you start out with a regular Pencil that becomes a “Wooden Sword with a Carbon Reinforced Core” and if you by the Spooky Sword you will get a Halloween Pencil.

I saw this watching a Jevil boss fight video, but if you return to Seam after defeating Jevil, you can get more information about them. Summarized, he was the court jester, Seam the court wizard, both friends and equal in strength. But one day a man appeared and changed Jevil, making him say things that made no sense yet complete sense. Seam locked him up to protect everyone, but ever since has seen things as dark, darker, yet darker. This is a direct reference to Gaster, as in Undertale there is a room in the files (room 264) with a journal entry, where he says "entry number 17 dark darker yet darker the darkness keeps growing the shadows cutting deeper photon readings negative this next experiment seems very very interesting... what do you two think?"

I'm surprised nobody is pointing out one of the least hidden Easter eggs in the game. When you're in the ground floor of your house, all of the windows have stick-figure silhouettes between the curtains. They're arranged to look like the promotional art for the first game, with characters under a light shining from above, in the field of flowers. You can even see it in this video. At 11:11, you're zoomed in on two of them, based on the art of Papyrus and Frisk on the left, and Frisk and Flowey on the right. The kitchen windows are also references to promo art.

You will be teleported to the Darkener world, and you receive a special item, the wrist protector. -In the room near the tree puzzle, where you go back and forth in order to unlock the special room, you can unlock a special character, the starwalker. -San's Diner is just Grillby's, but he scratched out Grillby' and added ans, keeping the S. -In Toriel's classroom, there are blocks on the floor in the bottom left hand corner. one thing that i really liked is when you go to the library and look in the computer lab window, you can see a dog (Toby Fox) working on something, making a game (next delarune chapter), and that you probably shouldn't disturb him and to be patient with the dog until it finishes the game. If you look in the window again, he will be doing other random stuff besides working on the game. It's pretty cool
