Thank you for making this recipe gluten-free. So many people without food allergies don't know how difficult it is to find recipes that you can make at home that don't include wheat. This is helping so many people like myself. Thank you, again, for making an option gluten-free friendly! I will be making this at home.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have Celiac disease and never learned to actually cook. I'm filled with processed foods. But, this recipe makes sense, reminds me of when my dad would cook and when you whipped out the garlic powder, I knew we were friends!

I like to add Chives as a veggie. Ramps are excellent when it's in season and if you can find/buy them. 👍🏽

I love panjeon, in this case yachaejeon (vegetable pancake), because it's a great way to use up random vegetables I have in the fridge. Another reason to love it is because it goes well with beer.
@vegieseitan11076 жыл бұрын
@@EastMeetsKitchen I like the feeling that I'm offsetting the beer by being healthy with all the vegetables. Also the touch of chickpea flour is a great idea, I'll start doing that from now on.

Hi thank you for the great recipe. Did you use gluten free soy sauce for this? Because normal soy sauce has gluten right?

These look great, thank you! I am wondering what is the purpose of letting the batter rest?
@susie22515 жыл бұрын
Melissa Samworth I don’t know the specific reasons for this recipe, but the general reasons for allowing batters to rest are: 1) it allows the flour to fully absorb the liquid and expand for a thicker batter; 2) it allows any bubbles that form to escape; and 3) if its wheat flour, it allows any of the gluten that formed from mixing it to relax and avoid a tough finished product.

i've got glutenous rice flour, tapioca flour and potato starch.... i while ago i bought a mix at an asian grocery and made kimchi pancakes and they were wonderful but chewy (i think chewy is good too i guess). looking so good and i have a gallon and half kimchi left.... hmmm. i can't use the chickpea flour as beans don't like me (i love them but i swell up like a balloon) so i wonder if i could use the above or maybe sub with some whole wheat or whole spelt flour?

Is this healthy to eat everyday for lunch? I am doing intermittent fasting, and would like to live off of this. Maybe add an egg or two to this. Would it be healthy?
@linasreiseinsdrogenland26654 жыл бұрын
the only thing that does not look healthy to me is the amount of oil used. i'm going to try them tomorrow in a non-stick pan with a little bit of oil. i think eating something every day is not the best you can do tho, but as a quick, easy lunch it's a great option :)

Soy sauce is NOT GLUTEN FREE! I am allergic to wheat and it is in soy sauce. Also allergic to soy. Many could get real sick or even breathing problems to death. You should post an alternative sauce for gluten free people who cannot have grains including wheat which is hidden in sauces.
