I guess the X10 4mm parallel GPi shaft might be a little lighter than the barrel X10.
@enrique633511 ай бұрын
It's not. Procomps are pure carbon shafts whereas X10s are an aluminum core wrapped with carbon fiber.

Not checked all spines, but the 420s are exactly the same diameter and weight as 420 pro comps. If anything the weight tolerances are better with the pro comp! Love the pro comps so will like these, just a different name!!
@ZephrusPrimeАй бұрын
For the X10 parallel -spine 420 shows that the halfout insert is NA all the way from 420 and up. So would size #3 work if the break off point is #3 for a 420?
@LancasterArcherySupplyАй бұрын
Unfortunately, Easton does not have a halfout that is manufactured for anything above a 380 spine on the Parallel Pro. Technically the #1 halfout would fit into your 420 spine shaft, but the OD gets smaller and smaller the farther you get from 380 spine, so the fitment would not be ideal on the outside of the shaft.
@ZephrusPrimeАй бұрын
@@LancasterArcherySupply Oh wow that's really sad! Is there a screw insert that can be used with the new X10's so I can use different screw in points?
@LancasterArcherySupplyАй бұрын
Outside of the halfouts, I do not believe that Easton produces any threaded inserts for the 4mm shafts. Have to stick with glue-in.

Why? A non-barreled X10 is a Pro Comp or an ACG. A budget version of that is a Skylon Preminens/Paragon. I don't get it?

But if it's rebranded, what is to say they didn't actually redesign the carbon structure, no one can know that, the factory manufacturer isn't going to let something like that out, I prefer to look at it as anything is possible,

Hello PJ,I'm very big sorry, I can a question,these arrows are bound to be good for target archery as well as hunting, aren't they? I understood You well, didn't it?🙄🙄🤔🤔🤔 I am still a budding archer from the Czech Republic.😊😊❤❤

@NPC-fl3gq11 ай бұрын
Terrible for hunting. Too expensive and too flimsy. If you want an arrow that you can use for both, at least go up to a .204 shaft (better aftermarket stuff is available). A .204 is still skinny enough for outdoor target (unless you're Olympic level good).

Well,if it's the Pro Comp X10 rebranded, so if they have made more spine models, then what's wrong with that, personally , I have collected the Easton arrow charts over the years, I may be a 30 years of experience of the amateur class, I have learned a lot about the machanics of archery, I have always been able to maintain a realitively good pattern, everyone needs to think, hell everything is pricey, yeah, everyone has their own opinion, I really don't care all that much about Commercialism, my opinionated proof comes from world competition of popularity, cause for what archery being what it is, 85/99% of everyone who shoots an Easton arrow, I don't mind the other brands, I've never seen or had a really bad arrow bad arrow, but I hate it when anyone puts Easton arrows down, other wise you don't know how to shoot,
