a brief history of INCREDIBUSY
I’m a London based stylist, who in a previous life ran the Design Studio for a well-known British Department Store group, and went on to be Creative Director for one of the founding organic and fairtrade kidswear brands in the UK.
I started writing an 'ethical' blog back in 2013 with aGreenerLifeforus.com as my family's eco blog.
As the boys get bigger, I've more time to dedicate to my own 'brand' so have recently started writing AND video-ing on incredibusy.com which covers all aspects of sustainability, charity, wellbeing and green living.
I'm still getting crafty with my two boys, upcycling old reclaimed furniture, baking (and eating) and experimenting with Instagram projects #sgiew and #kidscrafts101- so there's a lot to read, watch and enjoy...

Looks good, but I would seal them and make drainage holes. Cacti still need drainage even if they don't need as much water as other plants. Depending on how hot it gets, it might need more watering than if it's in a cooling area. People think cacti are just a set it and forget it mist it once in a blue moon sort of plant and they do their best to survive but if you water it once a week or so, you'll get flowers at flowering time. :) I get mine in the spring. :)

cnith2 I came here to ask about drainage holes and sealing! I'll manage a drainage holes but I'm at odds with what to seal it with.🤔

@@judifoster8 apologies for the massive delay! good call - I sit a plastic pot with holes for drainage, into the little clay pot, so they don't get damp enough here to need sealing x

I loved this video! If you put the cacti in, will the clay dissolve when the cacti are watered? I'm looking into learning ceramics (at home!) but have no kiln!!! Thanks in advance

Yes definitely - it’s an “outer” decorative pot so yes would go bigger for sure

Hai your video is interesting. I made one with das paper clay and i try to put the bowl to the water. And its wrecked. Can you give me about the care instruction of the bowl? Or which air dry clay that i can use to make a bowl?

I didn't seal them, thank you for asking - you know, they stayed on the mantlepiece quite safely until we got a kitten - enough said! :)

Apologies for not replying sooner, and what a brilliant question... now - yes, we left the pots in the rain to water them, big mistake - they did get wet/soft , but we brought them inside and they've dried out nicely so no harm done!

I applied wax coating on mine and then sprayed clear coat. I will see how it holds up.

Waseem Imam Saheb Yes! For dry food at least, for water and wet food I wouldn't do it unless the clay is safely waterproofed and also only if it didn't release any chemicals
