In this video we will make a Philly cheesesteak in the air fryer. The Philly cheesesteak is a popular and great-tasting sandwich using thinly sliced meat with onions and cheese.
Philly cheesesteak sandwiches are usually prepared with the meat, onions and cheese cooked on a griddle and then filled in a long roll.
In the air fryer (I’m using a COSORI) you can have sandwiches on the table in as little as 20 minutes (5 minutes for the onions, 7 minutes for the meat, and a couple minutes for the cheese and then putting them on the rolls) so there’s no better and quicker way, IMHO to put these together.
These taste great seasoned with just salt and pepper, but of course, you can season it as you like. You can of course add other stuff to your sandwich, such as chopped red and green peppers, mushrooms and etc. You probably would want to cook some of those (unless it's tomatoes and lettuce, which should always be cold) in the air fryer before the meat at about 5-7 minutes mixing it up every couple minutes and removing them only to add at the end when placing them in the sandwich.
Do you prefer your Philly cheesesteak as is, or do you like to add more to it? If you like to add more, what do you add, let me know in the comments below.

INGREDIENTS LIST
Approximately 400 grams (about 14 ounces) of thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin beef.
1 large or 2 medium-sized onions
In this video I’m using thinly sliced rib-eye, a little over 425 grams.
Olive oil, probably about 1/4 cup
And about 1/4 cup of seasonings to season the meat before cooking. It can be as simple as salt and pepper.
For the record, I used (McCormick) Montreal steak seasoning, which lists these in the ingredients: Coarse Salt , Black Pepper and Red Pepper, Garlic, Onion, Sunflower Oil and Chipotle powder.)
