Just had a wonderful apple today. Tart crisp sweet, added most of it to my Thai Chicken Noodle soup. Think I’m going back for more apples and making this tomorrow! Yum!

Thanks for sharing, I made an apple crisp last week. I stopped using cinnamon in a lot of my recipes and switched over to allspice what a Improvement in taste. I'm looking for a old fashioned persimmon pudding recipe any suggestions?

I add cinnamon to my apples too! Great idea on the lemon zest. I use lemon juice, but not the zest. Will try it! I use vanilla in mine. I prefer walnuts on my toppings because it is better for your heart, I also use more cinnamon because I like it and use splenda brown sugar instead of regular sugar because I have diabetes. It just goes so well with the oatmeal and cinnamon. I'm going to try your way though. I just love these recipes. We use whipped creme on it. The real stuff.

I read and watched a few other recipes for apple crips and this one, by far is my favorite. This is how I would make apple crisps if I knew how to make apple crips. I'm going to make this for a man that I am falling for, so I thinks it's safe to say that I'll be married soon after he has a bite. heheheheheheheheheeeeeeee

Kaleb, I am new to your channel. I am enjoying many of your recipes. I have some allergies so I am gluten and dairy free. I bake and cook from scratch, I’m all about healthy eating. I’d love to see more recipes like your double baked sweet potatoes or your dairy free tomato soup.
