I just tried this recipe and it is without a doubt the most wonderful apple crisp I have ever eaten. Over time (60 years) I have tried a lot of apple crisps at pot luck dinners , picnics, and family reunions. I have tried several recipes and none of them seemed to be what I thought they could be. Something always seemed to be missing. However, this recipe is everything that I hoped apple crisp could be and should be, it is marvelous. The topping is crunchy and just plain perfect! OK, I doubled up on the cinnamon, but that is all. Thank you for sharing with us!

Back with an updated comment. I just made it and it was DELICIOUS!!! I used fresh peaches instead because I’m not a big fan of apples. I topped it with Vanilla ice cream and it was simply amazing! Thank you, Natasha.

We have two apple trees and when my lil niece saw this video, she said, Nana can I go and pick some apples? I said, sure, why? She politely said, cause we are making apple crisp to go with dinner tonight. It warms my heart that she loves cooking so much! We enjoy your recipes. So, we made this today and it came out delish! Sooo...good! I am definitely going to invest in that apple peeler.

Hello Natasha, I can't wait to access this recipe. I made three apple pies for the first time this past weekend and followed your recipe. They were so delicious, I got so many compliments, I'm in awe. I looked at many recipes at first, and found yours to be very easy to follow, so I chose it. I even made two with the strips at the top and the third one plain. They were neat and beautiful. Thank you so much.

Well, I made this Apple Crisp tonight. It turned out fantastic and with a scoop of vanila ice cream it was the best I ever had. I did something a little different though. I melted some butter in a pan, added brown suger, cinnamon, a little flour and nutmeg then partially cooked the apples in this mixture till the mixture was thick and sticking to the apple slices. Then I put them in the oven with the topping. This recipe is a winner. Next time I'm going to try adding raisins to the apples. Thank you for posting.

While I haven't made this recipe yet, watching the video and seeing that peeler inspired me to break the peeler I had never used before.Whadya know it`s the same peeler as yours except it`s a clamp on base! What a fun and time saving tool!Peeled 6 apples in no time at all, thank you so much your recipe will be next.BONUS! This thing is versatile and can also peel and or slice potatoes, beets and more just slide the coring blade out of the way.One can also slice with skins on just move the peeling arm back.

I've seen alot of your videos on Facebook, this is my first time watching you on youtube, so I can comment. I love your videos mainly because you don't miss important steps. Your guides and receipes are so easy to follow, a lot better than TV chefs like Gordan Ramsay or Jamie Oliver. And saying that, unlike Gordon or Jamie, I also love your happy energy and comidic style, it always makes me smile. You make cooking fun, where as the Big TV chefs are too serious for me to feel enjoyment. Not just from watching their shows, but cooking in general because they don't put as much Fun into cooking as you do. A big thank you for all your work, it's excellent.

So mind you we were cooking recipes for two different things back to back the first came out awesome a jalapeno bacon corn pudding casserole. So when my cobbler bombed I looked up a recipe and your crumb topping for your cobbler saved the entire dish the topping crumbly sweet and salty had everyone at my father in laws house excited at the sight and the taste blew everyone away, in fact our dish was the most talked about the whole visit. Thank you for the humor in your video and the tasty creation you give to all of us. We look forward to your upcoming videos . Sincerely Darrin and Carla Abelowitz

Made this last week and it was a HUGE hit! There’s only 4 of us so we enjoyed it for a few days. So yummy!! I’m going to get the apple slicer because it was quite the chore peeling and slicing the apples myself. I was getting frustrated but kept in mind that the end result was going to be worth it and delicious. Well… it was delicious but NEVER again! Ordering Apple slicer ordering this week.
