When baking, while you select the sound (still in file searcher) *you can select a frequency range* ( 3:48 top right ) - so you can make things move to bass, to vocals and to strings separately for example!

if only i know about frequencies and all (range and whatnot) that would make the things in my head work the way i want

hey daniel big fan of yours i actually tried bake sound to f-curves but the results weren't quit how I was expecting them to be it really need some control like how much should the min and max value should be how fast it should release the sound curves and how much the starting value should be and ending value should be or at the least editable
@gamestart89484 жыл бұрын
here is link that i tried, the glowing part scaling at the drops is done manually kzbin.info/www/bejne/jH7MapR-mZKKhaM

@gamestart89484 жыл бұрын
@@DanielKrafft I actually looked on a tutorial kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKPYfYSeo5mqjck but it seems like this is some manually animation not sound controlled, there could be some other tutorials that I could not find, but my actual point is that the blender creator can make the interface a bit easier like make a slider for min max values i know that there is a envelope modifier but it is very wierd you have do so much change just for limiting how much the values should be.

You know what I'm still a beginner and by the time I get a little bit used to doing 3d maybe I would be able to do more different aswell or maybe they would make it easier before I even get to amateur level or something lol

I miss Rik Mayall so much. When you said, "Control and number 2," I immediately saw that moment of him sniggering like a 10-year old in The Young Ones. I always judge comedy by how it can eternally ruin everyday words. I've seen using audio as a control before, but I particularly liked the way you used Facing to give definition to the emission shader.

Hmm. Try passing your emission shader through a math node set up multiply and bump up the value that way.
