Easy Blueberry Crumble Recipe

We went berry picking on the weekend and picked some of the most delicious blueberries, so we decided to make a an easy blueberry crumble recipe. This recipe came out so delicious. Hot out of the oven, who could resist this blueberry crumble. Actually, it's a little different in the preparation, but in many ways, similar to our peach crumble recipe. b
Even if you can't get out blueberry picking, it's the time of year to grab some fresh berries and give this crumble a try. As always, let us know what you think.

@@TheCooknShare Hi (don't know your name right away. sorry), can imagine that it was a lot of fun picking those berries. When I buy the berries, I wash them, put them in a pan with a bit of water and vanilla and sugar and then cook them and blend them, so you get a sort of thick jelly and I put that in the yoghurt for my dear 87 year old mother. I always enjoy your video's (is it Dave your name?), they are fun to watch and not too long (some people make them too long to watch). Deborah from The Netherlands

Hello Dave. Looks pretty tasty! I think also, that this recipe can be done with many other fruits. I have Peaches at home, so I might try this with that. Be well. EDIT: So, this video gave me the idea to make some cobbler of my own with the fruits I had at home. In it: Strawberries, Peaches, Pineapple, Pink & Yellow Grapefruit. lol. Oh my, yummy! I have frozen blueberries, should I add extra cornstarch or flour to thicken the juices or should I cook the berries till they thicken up? Is this an 8X8 baking dish? My son is coming Sunday and I’ll make this for dessert. Thanks!

Hi Alexander. I have heard of people making crumble and leaving the oats out. I've never tried this, however. Quiana flakes have also worked I've heard. They are so good with the oats, however. Hope this helps.

I have never baked anything. Cake type things that is. I like Fruit Crumble and for some reason I cannot remember, I have some in the Freezer. Ha Ha! I also have some "Crumble Mix" ( quelle horreur ) :-) but it is probably about five years out of date. Torn about what to do. :-) Wish I didn't like Crumble, of any fruit. Got a big decision to make. Research, that is the answer. That should avoid me making a decision for a few years :-). Out with the Magimix.
