Hey Guys! Welcome back to my channel. In todays video I’m going to make a very Easy Chicken Shrimp and Sausage Gumbo. The inspiration for this dish came from Monte’s love for Gumbo. Whenever we go out to eat and Gumbo is on the menu he has to have it. His favorite restaurant to enjoy it at is Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. We’ve been to both locations in Atlanta Ga., and the one in Birmingham Alabama.
I’ve made Gumbo for him and he always loves it. Now my recipe isn’t a true authentic Gumbo but it’s how we like it. I’ve cooked it enough so that I know what makes it the most flavorful with tender pieces of meat for us. I hope that you’ll give my recipe a try.
Easy Chicken Shrimp and Sausage Gumbo:
4 Large Chicken Breast, cut up in bite size pieces
4 Pounds Shrimp
2 Packages Andouille Sausage, sliced
2 Quarts Chicken Broth
1 Cup Mojo Marinade
1 Large Onion
1 Large Bell Pepper
4 Cups Frozen Okra
2 Cups Peanut Oil
2 Cups Self Rising Flour
1/4 Cup Avocado Oil
2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
3 Tablespoons Cajun Seasoning
2 Tablespoons Seasoning Salt
1 Tablespoon Whole Celery Seeds
1/2 Tablespoon Granulated Onion
1/2 Tablespoon Granulated Garlic
1 Tablespoon Parsley Flakes
3 Large Bay Leaves
