My grandson was told to bring house slippers to school this year. I made him a pair (black as per his request) and they turned out so cute!! Everyone loves them. Thanks ever so much for the amazing tutorial and pattern. This is one of the best patterns that I’ve ever made. Easy to follow and turned out better than I expected. Thanks so much. After making several pairs of these over the last three or four years I'm finally getting to mine which were the first ones I was ever going to make LOL! Mine will be purple 💜 I have the soles done now onto the slipper! Btw, I'm an advanced & very experienced crocheter my whole life. There isn't anything that I can't make and there isn't any instructions that I don't understand. BUT these are my ultimate favorite project of everything I've done! Thank you for the video! Hi Stephanie, Thank you so much for this fantastic pattern and tutorial. I want you to know how much joy sharing this with us gave. I made Christmas stockings for our local family resource center and used your pattern to make slippers for all the children. They were very cute, but it wasn't until I made a pair for myself that I knew how much the children must be loving theirs. A slipper you can get a child to wear is a rare thing, lol, but these are one. They're cute, warm, and comfortable. I did add one thing, I got a tube of bathtub calking and rubbed a good coat into the fibers of the sole at the toe & heel to prevent slipping. Thank you, The Lord be with you in the days ahead...

Thank you for posting this pattern! I usually don't bother with youtube patterns because I find them rather frustrating to follow all the way through, but yours is very clear and easy to follow. I typed up the pattern as I went so I could do the second slipper from my notes.

I just wanted to thank you so much for this video. I rarely post any comments on youtube. How ever, you definatley know what you are doing. This was a very well done video I am fairly new at crochet and wanted a challenge. I got one. But I also completed it!! ,(Because of this video) I can't believe it! The most complex project I've ever done before this was mittens. Lol and they didn't all turn out the same. Anyway, thank you so much for a well done video. I've watched a ton of crochet videos and many people either talk too much or skip over Important steps, or make poor quality videos. I loved the pace, the way you have the written text up in corner made for easy reference when pausing, and just enough instruction where you don't repeat yourself or babble. Many of those things make me stop watching the video but not yours . It was perfect in every way! Thank you thank you!! I made one slipper I hope I have the courage to make the second one for a complete set. Lol your videos on soles were great also. I'll be checking out all of your projects now and will refer to yours often Thank you and keep up the amazing work. 👍😎♥️

@@StephanieZed I look forward to seeing all the projects you share 😊 please don't stop, your videos are very well done and truly helpful for someone like me trying to learn. I am a very literal learner and hang on every word when I'm first learning. It's refreshing to learn in a consistent way with lots of ways to double check my work. Counting the stitches along the way, (which I never did before your videos! wow that's important so I can correct something before getting in too far.) knowing exactly where I left off if I have to break from it, being consistent with the demonstration of the stitches along with the language you use are all very simple, but very important and often overlooked with other videos I've seen. You are a great teacher 😎 your efforts stand out by far. I just wanted to add those few things. I am now working on a new pair for my nephew. You make it fun to do because I know I'm going to end up with something really cool at the end. As long as I follow along 😊
