Can't wait to try this out! Looks so cute. Do you think you could make a video on the kind of yarn you use to make these projects? Like the thickness, brand, and what it's made out of?

I made the sweater - my first real piece of crocheted clothing. Looks great except I accidentally reversed the top of the sleeves and sewed the seam at the top :( Well, I learn something new every time I try! Thanks for sharing this!

Yay! So excited for a new tutorial :') That color is beauuuutiful and the yarn looks so plush and nice to work with. Q, can we add more rows of increases at the beginning of the sleeve for a fuller balloon sleeve?
@forthefrills3 жыл бұрын
Sure! Or you can increase more rapidly so for Row 7 repeat the same stitch pattern as row 6 *HDC, HDC 2, or if you really want a huge balloon sleeve just 2HDC in each stitch across. That will give you a fuller balloon shape. Grace :)

If you wanted the ribbing to be a little bit longer on the bottom, could you just do more rows of back post/front post crochet rows on the front and back pannels?

@trisviktor7763 жыл бұрын
Hi, love your tutorials, always so clear and easy to follow. Oh and Happy New Year! ☺. Could you teach us how to make an A-line skirt or shorts to go with this? Thanks. Edit: Would a Medium weight 4 yarn work with this? Or would it take away from the design?
@forthefrills3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tris, If it was a really thick Medium 4 yarn e.g. Lion Brand Heartland you could probably meet gauge. If you can meet the gauge listed in the pattern (Linked in the description) You should be ok, but otherwise your sweater will probably be too small. I hope this helps, Grace :)

Hello !! how are you? I am trying to make this project which is beautiful with a size 6 bulky yarn and a number 10 crochet hook, as I am a size M but considering that my yarn and my crochet are larger, maybe size S would be wide and light, I want something very bulky , you think it's possible ?
@dorothyroe5356 ай бұрын
The Might stitch bulky is no longer available and I use the regular Mighty stitch yarn

can you please tell me that how many rows should I make for medium size ???
@babydragon7182 жыл бұрын
When you say repeat row 2 till row 38 (40) for mine are we counting those two rows as part of the 40 or do we do those two rows as separate making 40 +2 so a total of 42 rows

I just started and 58 stitches looks awfully wide for a size small
@mishelshine19810 ай бұрын
I started a couple days ago as well, it look pretty small for me. Now that I’ve made some more though I’m pretty sure it can fit me.. if you’re unsure whether it might fit you try checking if the gauge is right. My sleeve ribbing is looking too small and I think it has to do with gauge. Hope this helps, happy crocheting ❤❤!!
@joannajudson110710 ай бұрын
@@mishelshine198 I checked gauge before starting since I used a worsted weight yarn. My sleeve cuffs looked small to do I worked them with the next size up hook. Unfortunately I’m making this for my granddaughter that lives on the other side of the country. Just hope it fits. 🙏
