I finished the project and it turned out beautifully. My SIL wanted a scarf, so I did 2 repeats along with the beginning/ending rows of HDC. It turned out beautifully and next I’ll make the full pocket shawl for my mom. Thank you!

Omg this is perfect for what I am looking for, I have been searching for something like this for a while and I happened to find your channel whilst looking at someone else's channel, I have some of what spotlight sells here in Australia called (Spot saver USA style) In 10ply, it's for a blanket for myself but I'm hoping I'll have enough left to make one of these too... 🙏💐 Thank you, I must search your channel for more 💝💖💗

For the pockets, if you chain 32, add 1, skip 2, hdc across, didn't that leave you with 31 hdc?
@KnitandCrochetDesign2 жыл бұрын
Please count ch 2 as a hdc.

Beautiful Pocket shawl. I am getting a little confused on the stitch count going into the repeat rows. Are you counting the chai 2 as 1 of the stitches? On the criss cross row it loooks like you started with a chain 2, but finished with a double crochet? Thanks.
@KnitandCrochetDesign2 жыл бұрын
Yes, counting the chain 2 as a dc and finished the row with a dc. There is a written pattern available with all the details and pictures, the written patter link is in a description and I am including the link here: www.etsy.com/listing/891234102/pocket-shawl-crochet-pattern-instant?click_key=f509daf364ea3dcde028259df746cf45ae69b6b2%3A891234102&click_sum=518e2f1f&ref=shop_home_active_33&pro=1

I was with you until the 'crossover' stitch - phooey! Otherwise I like the pattern....
@KnitandCrochetDesign3 жыл бұрын
The crossover stitch in not hard all all. And this is how it is done: Yarn over, skip the next stitch and insert hook into the following stitch and made a double crochet stitch. Yarn over, come back to the stitch you skipped from the front of the double crochet stitch you made, insert hook into the stitch from behind and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through first two loops, yarn over and pull through last two loops. I hope this helps and thank you for watching.
