Thank you for these crockpot recipes. I've never made white chicken chili either. It looks sooo comforting. Chicken and dumplings are a favorite in our house 😋. Thanks for sharing everything tonight. I wanted to let you know that you really should try to make your own taco seasoning. It is SOOO much better than the packaged taco seasoning. You can make a huge batch and keep it for a long time. I'll attach it just in case. 3 parts chili powder 2 parts ground cumin 1 part paprika ½ part cayenne pepper 1 part dried oregano 1 part onion powder 1 part garlic powder 1 part salt ½ part black pepper

For easy dumplings you can also use canned biscuits. I cut each biscuit into quarters and allow it to cook in my boiling broth for about 10 to 15 minutes just stirring very gingerly so you do not break them all up. I love chicken with gnocchi too. I make a chicken stew with gnocchi. It is delicious. In my taco soup I use the whole packet of the taco seasoning and the ranch. It always taste great .

I make that baked potato soup but add a little more chicken broth and then add loaded instant mashed potatoes with the cream cheese. It is one of our favorites. The cornbread looked yummy. I am new subscriber from Tiffany’s channel. 😁 Taco soup is on my meal plan for February.

Everything looked really good and comforting. As far as your chicken and dumplings go have you ever tried can refrigerator biscuits! Just roll them a bit and drop them in boiling chicken broth. Taste just like homemade! I use to make from scratch rolled dumplings but after I tried the biscuits there's no going back 🙃

I love easy potato soup. I use cheddar soup instead of cream of chix. Ends up very cheesy. And I use the whole packet of ranch in my taco soup. Both are favorites around here! Thanks for sharing!

Oh yes, that cheddar soup sounds wonderful in the tater soup. I made a cheesy one a long time ago, I need to pull that back out. And yes, for sure will use the whole pack of ranch next time too. Mel another version I found years ago was using a can of biscuits. You cook the chicken the same way in a crockpot or big soup pot with two cans of cream of chicken soup with two cans of water … I found rolling out the biscuits to make them thin tastes better and cooks more evenly … but once you roll it out you take a pizza cutter to cut it up in fours and throw it in the crockpot to cook w your chicken. If you cook it in a soup pot you want the pot to come to a rolling boil before you throw in your dumplings then drop the heat and allow the dumplings to cook until done … about an hour or so on med heat. But if you cook it in a crock pot you don’t have to worry about that. Lol 😆

Hi Mel. I too couldn't make a decent pot of chicken & dumplings until I found a crock pot recipe for it. And that recipe had me cut up canned biscuits into 1/4's and drop on top of mixture for last 30 minutes of cooking. I love it! We are a family of 6, and I'm always on the hunt for a few "new" to us recipes. I look forward to trying this gnocchi version. OMG! That cornbread looks amazing! Seriously, my mouth is watering now. haha And I can't wait to make that potato soup. I love soups...but I rarely make them.

This video has inspired me to dust off my crockpot and crank her up once more. I’m adding this to my list of recipes to try. I make KZbin cooking videos too and my favorite cooking videos too. Mel, have u ever tried the can biscuit hack for dumplings? U can make ur soup base like u did this noki one or anyway u normally Make cream chicken anything. bring it to a boil or use a crockpot and cut ur biscuits from a can into either half or I do 1/4 and drop them in the liquid. Cover and cook and when they float to the top do a gentle stir or shake ur pan and cover and recook. U can have these done in 20 mins on stove top.

Hello Mel! Glad you are feeling better! I have been praying for you and your family. Could you lift me in prayer please? My biopsy is tomorrow morning. I’ve come to realize I have to put this in God’s hands and He will carry me through whatever the outcome. He never fails His children and will give me peace and strength through this process. He carried me through my first round of cancer in my 20’s He will get me through it again in my 30’s but hopefully it’s a false alarm.

Thank you for all these recipes! So simple. I love cornbread but not a fan of creamed corn. Can you taste it? I’m so excited for the chicken and dumplings! Love chicken and dumplings but I never knew how to make the dumplings. This will be a must try! Can these recipes be frozen? Thank you again!

So glad that you like these, hope they help you out on these busy days. You don't really taste the creamed corn like you would if you were just eating it by itself. It mainly makes the cornbread very moist and gives it just a little texture. The gnocchi has definitely been a game changer for me, I'm not sure how it would freeze, I've never tried. But I know the other three freeze well and are even tastier when you thaw and eat them the second time around! Thanks so much for watching and I hope you love them!
