A quick walk through how to make this delicious, easy Monkey Bread (or “pull apart” bread as some say) baked right in the Ninja Foodi. You can also use the oven or any appliance with a bake setting. This recipe is super easy and makes for a very versatile meal, snack, dessert or breakfast! You can also add raisins, nuts or anything else you can think of to make it your own. //RECIPE HERE//
1 (to 2) can(s) of Pillsbury Grands biscuits (8 ct) **I used only one in a 7 inch bundt pan
1/3 cup brown sugar (*add additional 2 tbs if using 2 cans of biscuits)
1/3 cup melted butter (*add additional 2 tbs if using 2 cans of biscuits)
approx 1 cup +/- Cinnamon Sugar combination (or combine yourself)
//FOR GLAZE// optional
2 heaping tbs of confectioners sugar
1 (milk capful) of milk
*mix well until desired texture/thickness, set aside
//INSTRUCTIONS//
Pre-heat Foodi for 5 minutes on Bake setting 330°. Cut your biscuits into quarters. Using either a zip lock bag or mixing bowl, toss your quarters in the cinnamon sugar and coat very well. Next layer them into a well greased/oiled bundt pan, cake pan or springform. Smoosh them down just a bit but not too much. Combine your brown sugar and melted butter, mix well and pour mixture over your coated quarters in pan. After the 5 minute preheat set Foodi for 25 minutes 330° and add your monkey bread into the Foodi base pot (You can either use a silicone lifter, the reversible rack or stand alone.) You can cover with foil the first 10-12 minutes OR the last 10-12 minutes, whichever you prefer, but I do recommend covering a portion of the cook time to avoid burning/crisping. I used an oven safe silicone lid. Cook 25 minutes, check halfway and again with 2-3 minutes remaining to ensure desired doneness. let stand 5-10 minutes then flip upside down onto a plate, drizzle with glaze and serve. TIP You can also add in some raisins, nuts or whatever else you'd like to make it your own.
Enjoy! :)
