Love it. I will say with three young boys it does get everywhere. The rocks along the edge is very smart to avoid it getting in to the grass and looks pretty too. I could see a thin bed of flowers wrapped around it to avoid overspill one to the lawn!

I also love pea gravel and have used it extensively in my garden. On paths and on a patio area. I used the best landscape fabric and still had problems with weeds. I remedied my problem with Preen. One application, no weeds. I think my problem stems from the fact our garden is on a slope and we get lots of water runoff and some washing from flower beds. Overall, I am very pleased and the Preen solved my problem.

@@susandudley171 this is an old vid about pea gravel. I have a tree that I'd 20ft from the gravel. It deposits leaves on the gravel. You rake it up and out it in a trash container. Just take care not to rake to deep. I just cleaned my area up. The few leaves left break down over summer. My pea gravel gets blown out of the area I have it. I wish I got a locking system with sand or the plastic honeycomb to keep it there.

I have a nice big yard with space on the side too. The side yard it's just sitting there looking boring..I want to use that space too..the side yard has a slope which iam thinking of removing or adding dirt to level. After that iam gonna lay down concrete to use that space too. However, now iam debating between gravel and concrete for the side yard space ( 15ft from house to fence and 60ft long.)...my only concern is gravel getting stuck under shoes and bringing it into the house...I have very nice plank vinyl flooring.. we won't be taking shoes off to go into house.

Beautiful Patio! Great job! One concern I've had with pea gravel is whether or not it's hard to maintain under a large tree. I imagine i would need to use a leaf blower often. Does the pea gravel move? Has it been easy to keep clean the last 2 years? Thanks!
