Thanks very much, Terry. Scrolling is my favorite. It is very therapeutic in a way. I kinda get locked in to doing it and just kind of let my mind wander. Until the blade brakes, anyway. Then I almost need a change of pants. lol

Awesome scroll dude!! Was it a spiral blade though? If so, can you find them at a big box?
@Shopcat22
@Shopcat22 8 жыл бұрын
It was a combination of blades. I only used a spiral on a few of the small holes. I hate the spiral blades, but yes... I picked them up at Menards. They are Olson brand. I prefer a thin reverse tooth blade myself, which is what I mostly used throughout. Glad you liked it. Scrolling is my favorite form of woodworking.

question what size blade did you use for that thick wood?
@Shopcat22

It's hard to recall, but I typically use a 7R blade on most projects. Which would be .047" skip tooth reverse. Again, I am not 100% sure though.

Do you put tape on the back of the stock to help prevent splintering? What blade would you use for 1/8" Baltic Birch plywood? Great job! Liked and subbed.
@aulivn4jc
@aulivn4jc 6 жыл бұрын
The tape makes removing the glued down paper pattern a lot easier when its finished and heard it helps lubricate the blade.
@Shopcat22
@Shopcat22 6 жыл бұрын
I put tape on the back to make removing the template much easier when finished. As far as blade. A #1 or #3 Flying Dutchman blade or equivalent. Thanks for the sub.

Hi sir, I hope you can answer my question, I´m using a dremel moto saw, and I have some problems doing the curves, it depends of the kind of blade, or the speed? What do you think, and thanks, nice video
