Thank you so much for this reaction big brother, I deeply appreciate it! Too bad you couldn't hear Dre Day first because that song started the diss thing. In the whole NWA group he was the only real one, even though he was short and had voice problems, he was the really only one in the streets from the whole group so yeah

Easy E owned the streets. He had the entirety of the LA crips on his side, he was also very respected among hispanic groups. He was a real gangster, Eazy wanted to physically kill suge knight, personally, who was the ceo of death rows if you didn’t know. But he was talked out of it from people who were close in his circle.

@carolehall1000
@carolehall1000 3 жыл бұрын
@TJ Now, now. What I should do isn't up for debate, but you are certainly free to choose not to engage. It is interesting that you are attempting to limit definitions of the words "fight" and "physically" as to involve only bare hands when that isn't the case for either. Your focus on Suge Knight being a big guy may be throwing you off. Size can be intimidating to some whose perspectives are more modest.
@carolehall1000
@carolehall1000 3 жыл бұрын
@TJ But, the person who used those phrases in the first place isn't the one trying so hard to misdefine them - that's you. "Fight" is an altercation between people that may or may not include weapons: US military service members fight enemies. (Usually with weapons!) "Physically kill" just means "do it yourself" in common usage: Charles Manson was convicted of 9 murders but only "physically" participated in 2. He ordered that others carry out the other 7. (All 9 involved various weapons.) Glad I could help!

Not only did the crips had his back, he also had the ese's. Check out the interview of Toker (RIP) from brownside. Also the one interview with BG Knocc Out where he talked about the NWA movie and how Eazy E supposedly got beat down by Suge and his crew. It never happened and if it did, no one would've been alive to tell about it. Eazy E was something else.

The photos of Dre come from his pre-NWA electro group the World Class Wreckin' Cru, which he was in circa '83 - '87. They were clean cut electro hip-hop you could take home to meet your parents, and they wore sparkly suits and makeup. Then in '87, Eazy and Cube start talking about forming a new group with a gangsta theme and Dre says he in, so he starts fronting a gangsta image even though he was never a gangsta.
@amsequeira2282
@amsequeira2282 3 жыл бұрын
At this time, Eazy E was the only person to openly diss Suge Knight and the entire Death Row camp. Eazy E had back up from different Crip sets from Compton as well from Watts & South Central. He even has Hispanic gangs riding with him, especially Toker and Brownside (Eastside 13). Eazy was never a banger. But he definitely was a street hustler from back in the days. He was a real street dude. Eazy earned a huge shit load of respect all over LA. Suge was feared because of the goons he had on his team. But Eazy had far more back up. A lot of guys in the rap game from coast to coast had a lot of respect for Eazy and all have vouched for Eazy saying he wasn't the type to let himself be punked.
@FreeDom-id6yb
@FreeDom-id6yb 2 жыл бұрын
Eazy was part of the Crips...never was a low-level banger because he also hustled, because he was high on the ladder but they said he was a fighter...a quiet, charismatic dude with a good sense of humor but could get serious really quick...Suge knew not to touch Eazy or he would be touched. As for the video poster, for his stature, many thought Eazy had a bigger presence even with his voice and you probably might have been afraid...on another none gangsta level, it's like Prince, though he was only 4 feet tall, everyone seemed to feel intimidated around him. But Eazy was said to be built like a tank - very muscular and wasn't afraid to get down with anyone, even taller foes...

He was the only one in his camp that wasn't scared of Suge apparently. They say that on his radio station he would routinely play Death Row songs as a dig, since he had royalties on most songs that had Dre involved. Suge threatened Ruthless Records' people to stop playing the songs, and when they told Eazy, he responded by airing a Death Row marathon to show he wasn't scared.

@LC__15
@LC__15 3 жыл бұрын
2:43 Yeah, cause Dre left Ruthless Records to form Death Row with Suge after disagreements where the NWA money was going. 5:38 Dre was part of a 80s R&B/soul group World Class Wrecking Crew like Debarge & Shalamar etc and played keys for them, arranged most of their music which is where he honed his production skills from. BG Knocc Out & Dresta who are also on this track, wrote all the lyrics for this song including Eazy's verse but that's like most of Eazy's career, he had ghostwriters most prominent being Ice Cube during NWA days.

Cube n Dre were either from the burbs or yu saw Dre's pics...that's from his old group World Class Wrecking Crew. EZ started Ruthless Records with dope money. I'd say his return was 1000 fold. I think EZ was hit. I don't think a small cough goes 2 full blown AIDS n yur dead in 2 months. One thing about Death Row...Suge n his guys outta prison (bodyguards) were Piru Bloods. EZ, Snoop, n most others were Crips, but diff sets. It's funny EZ cudda got Southside n some other hoods 2 help him but he didn't. His bodyguards were Samoan. After Pac was shot by Baby Lane, a war broke out. Pac was an entertainer, had no biz with those guys doin street stuff like taking off after Baby Lane in the MGM for snatching a Death Row chain n punching then all stomped him. 2 hours later he was shot. Biggie came next. After all that, the beefs died down cuz ppl realized there's real hitters takin lives. It was a wild time bruh. Sorry so long
