This is a great video! As my hair grows longer I am getting a lot more scalp pain and tenderness on my hair roots especially with high buns. I find claw clips give me no or less headaches than elastic ties or scrunchies. Thank you!

Great ideas! I find it also helps on days when my scalp hurts to do a style without elastics, eg. a loosely wrapped bun held with a wooden hairstick or fork. The stick is secure without being uncomfortable in the least, and my thick curls are up and out of the way.

The Bookworms Nook Helpful video I'm a migraine sufferer. I actually wore a bun without a hair tie yesterday. I just used spin pins it was a bad idea. My head hurt on top by the time I was 3/4 of the way through the day, never again. I'll always wear a hair tie with my spin pins like I normally do in future.

I wish massaging my head, neck or scalp helped. But having to raise my arms causes more tension. If my boyfriend does it and is gentle is helps. My scalp hurts no matter if my head hurts when I put it up. I hate it. But having it down just makes me hot. Right now at home my hair is in a loose bun in the top of my hair using clips to hold it in place. But I know later my scalp will be sore.

There's a pressure point in your hand, right by the thumb. No one believes me until they have a headache and I push it for them, but it should help enough that you can resume life!
