The best watch that i've ever had... !!!! Its classy, sporty, and has anchors!!!! I've done the battery change but i recommed to buy the specific version of the battery ... one comes with an "S" and the other doesn't... SR927W and SR927SW.... i don't remember wich is the right one but the point is.... one last much more than the other... like 100% more...

Thank you for your video. I had changed the batteries but was unable to set the time.The Casio showroom guys were demanding that I get the batteries re-replaced from them, only then would they adjust the time on my G shock. Thank you for saving me money as well.

Brilliant. I paid for my battery replacement but the hands didn’t align afterwards and the buttons didn’t work. I had to send it to Casio for fixing. What I didn’t realise too, which might help, is that the slightest movement of the movement will result in all of the adjust buttons not aligning with the springs inside. So for example the light won’t work. Just make sure they’re reseated with a sewing needle to get them in before putting the back plate back on.

Hi! I have the same problem as you but can't figure out how to fix it, can you go in a bit more detail please about how you fixed yours? All buttons work fine if I try to press them outside of the case, but when I put the module back in only the mode button works.

@@alexhesson9005 same thing exactly. There are four very thin steel spring loaded “pegs” that connect the button to the function. When you release the button, the peg pushed the button back out. But… they’re so thin that even if you lift the movement by half a mm, they don’t align. So, when you sit everything back in place, use a thin needle to push the peg towards the button (you’ll hear it snap into its position). I’m sorry I can’t do better than that, I don’t know the technical terms for these things. It would be better to upload a video but I don’t want to take my watch apart again in case the whole things was a fluke!

My hands are aligned and the face matches the digital but my modes are two clicks off. I.e. it points at tide but will say world time. Everything matches up like it should other than those two. Any further tips? Great video definitely saved my bacon on this one!

3:17 it's alway's a good rule to try and not touch the batteries with your fingers. The natural oils from your fingers will shorten the lifespan of the new batteries.
